1991 got you your front and rear face lift but still had the TPI L98.

Small frontal *overturn*.

Really? I would say everyone at jalopnik must be 20 years old if this was the question that came up in the office, but I know there are people there old enough to know better. Or at least they should.

Came here to say this.

Psst... Kids don't go to malls anymore.

Was the 914 ever really a Porsche?

Front half looks like a next gen Ford edge. Back half could be a next gen Lincoln MKC. This is a hypothetical 2021 Mercury Mariner comeback.

The Computer Aided Gear Selection (as if it’s doing me a favor) made its debut on the 89 Corvette. Luckily the previous owner disabled that. I also have it on my 2010 Camaro SS. It is still active on the Camaro and honestly doesn’t intervene too often, but when it does it sure is annoying. The “1 to 4" light still

I do. I want some illusion of fuel economy since it is my DD; you want to stay in the power band. The reason us enthusiasts pick a manual is so that we can be in the gear we want, when we want. I usually go 1 -2-4-6, so I do enjoy the power band up until traffic speed. I have 6 gears to choose from but mostly only use

I can put my 89 Corvette into 6th at 28 mph and basically idle at 700 RPM and barely lose any speed on flat ground. Low end torque plus low weight plus aerodynamic shape means 70 MPH is a leisurely 1600 RPM. Thus the reasonable highway mileage Corvettes are capable of.

4th gen Corvettes.

Off topic... I’m not one to read into things for the sake of finding discrimination, but... take a look at the black bar at the top of all the Gizmodo sites. Now, the site you’re currently on is always at the far left. Go to any other GMG site and take a look at that list at the top. All in alphabetical order right?

He oughta know by now.

I like it... Cause it doesn’t look like an embiggened BMW sedan.

What was the most “regular” car? Anything not super rare or exotic but just well preserved assembly line fresh?

Fuel: gas... Is that in reference to the engine or the fire?

Radials are for the weak. Bias plies or bust.

Saw the same guy Friday night at the Rolling Meadows cruise night. Go fish!
