An excellent article. Another car which has its computer actually inside the intake is the 2010 Ford Focus ST225 (or XR5 Turbo, as it was known here in Australia) with the charismatic Volvo-sourced five cylinder turbocharged, intercooled engine.

I met Daigo Saito and saw him in drifting action at the World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney a few years ago. The level of skill he effortlessly demonstrated as he drifted, looked like he was a class above all other competitors. It was magic to watch.
