This is all very true, but you should also know that the difference between the MSRP and “Invoice less holdback” can vary GREATLY. Look at say a Chrysler 200 LX. I’ve seen those with $100 between MSRP and “Invoice”, and even less “holdback”. So don’t go in and demand $3k off a vehicle like that, it’s not realistic.

I know what you mean. I can’t decide to get one of these, a Raptor, an Army Tank or a Space Rocket. They all have their pluses and minuses!

$100k for a truck! Back in my day trucks were for haulin’ whiskey and firewood! We didn’t need any fancy pants 4wd or supertubos! And if ya got stuck ya just get ‘ol Randy from the next farm over to bring his strongest steer! Nobody’s gonna buy this thing rabble rabble!

The ecoboost has always achieved terrible real-world MPG. No surprise the Raptor is awful as well.

Thanks, Ferrari! Let’s all join the anti-turbo revolution. It can stay in the compact cars, only exception.

Just awesome. Cars like this are built for fun and excitement. If you’re going to be a debbie downer and complain about it in any way, I feel sorry for you. Kudos to Dodge for pushing the limits. Screw the naysayers so high up on their horses.

“new pedestrian-protection system that can detect an impact with a person at speeds between 16 and 30 mph.” Ok who’s going to volunteer to see if this actually works? That said, the car looks great, next step...get more people to actually buy Buicks.

It’s a Buick, so it has a chance!

That’s gorgeous, I had a 1998 Limited about 10 years ago with the v8. It was a good truck, had it for a few year, took it from 100k to 130k miles with no issues.

Why all the “it’s not new” comments? Why in the world would they change a vehicle that NEVER has incentives or rebates and has an EXTREMELY loyal following even with reliability issues? Stop thinking with your dicks and think with your brains for a minute.

You’d rather they destroyed the time honored design? It’s a Jeep thing, go buy a 4-Runner and stfu.

Baggy jeans, skinny jeans...Fat tires...the next logical step? Fashion always comes around.

Buying a BMW SUV is like buying a Range Rover sports sedan (if one existed).

The new Equinox is fine, but GM’s sedans all seem SMALLER than before. The Malibu seems smaller, the LaCrosse seems way smaller, the Cruze is maybe about the same.

I drove a 2014 CX-5 on a 4 hour each way business trip, and it was probably the most wind noise I have ever experienced in a car. And I’ve driven Jeep Wranglers further. Since you didn’t mention it, I assume they’ve fixed that?

The Xterra is a great looking SUV and I get what they were going for but I just don’t see any that don’t have major issues, ever.

Seriously cute baby there! On a side note, it will be a seriously happy day if FCA would just dump that 9-speed.

Who needs articulation when you can just drive just fine on two wheels?

What is this I don’t even...

I just don’t get the ecoboost...get a truck that sounds like a dirtbike for the sake of 1-2 mpg’s. I get it, this out-performs the last raptor but for the friking RAPTOR why not go v8 with a supercharger and get something really special?
