Eh, it barely looks like a hatch, and nobody in the US can drive a stick, so it’ll be like finding a needle in a haystack. Hard to be excited about this, but nice article.

Why the 9-speed?? Why why why??? Overall it does look great.

I’m going to agree with Dodge. The Tesla is anything but an “SUV”, the Mercedes is 100% German, no matter where it’s made. At least the Dodge was at one point an American brand. Close enough by 2017 standards! :)

How sad :(

The Ford Tahoe, now with less cylinders!

GoPro Mount, Crawl Mode, is there a “poser” sticker anywhere on it?

Wranglers have great resale value, even at 200k.

As I’m sure Tom knows, sometimes dealerships will literally stock in a used car as new by accident, and it might have very low miles. Sometimes it’s the difference between the office person typing “N” instead of “U” into the computer system.

That’s true, but there would be trade off’s. The 4-door Wranglers honestly aren’t bad. I had an ‘84 CJ-7, now THAT was bad.

How many people buy pickups and use them for work? How many people buy Corvettes and take them to the track? The question is getting old.

You guys are crazy. The Wrangler isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, unless Fiat messes it up. You totally overestimate how much people care about the on-road manners.

“The Everest kind of serves a lot of off-road capability; maybe the space the Explorer serves here in the U.S”...uh, what? Just my opinion, but the Explorer is just a glorified minivan with AWD.

It’s very much alike, neither is a good idea if you care about the children riding with you :) But you know, to each their own.

“the kid can ride in the Corvette no problem”...You could also strap a car seat on the back of a Harley, doesn’t mean you should.

You get lowered in via the A-Team helicopter.

This is a daily occurrence in Florida, this one just happened to be on video. Joking aside, these flyers appeal to the lowest echelon of society, but guess what, they work. Requiring a purchase to get a prize may be illegal. It is in the state I live in.

Well played, sir.

That’s a lot of miles, but the truck still isn’t that old. I’m not an eco-basher but realistically we still need to see how a 15-year old one runs with 200k plus to get the real story. Guess we’ll have to wait a bit longer!

There’s a lot of risk buying these cars with (relatively) unproven technology for the long term. Dealers don’t want the headaches of fixing them nor do consumers. How comfortable would you be with a 200,000 mile Tesla right now?

Great review. I haven’t driven one yet, but everything you said was what I assumed about it!
