It's very good.

Also, man it's weird to hear that Sing Swan Song after knowing the Kanye tune. Do you know this Q-Tip reworking of a CAN tune? https://www.youtube.com/wat…

That was an excellent album. There's a lot going on there and I was listening while working so I probably didn't give it a fair shake, but my initial impressions are very good. I will be listening again soon.

I'm adding Roadkill Overcoat to my "To Listen" list.

Given that Fear of A Black Tangent is not available on Spotify, where should I start with Busdriver?

Can I also just say, I've never heard of it before but Haiku D'Etat is an incredible name for an album.

Damn, should've had Common's Be on my list for SURE.

Ok, your eponymous album is great so far. For me, its all about the drumming and the bass which are both INCREDIBLE. I'm not sure how I feel about the vocals & guitar work. They're really just kind of color over the top of the interesting stuff going on in the rhythm.

Sunday Candy is excellent. As is Slip Slip Slide. My only problem with that record as a whole is there's too many guest features and not enough Chance verses. I love his style and wanna hear him rap more.
I think Acid Rap is his best record. He's too influenced by his features on Coloring Book and he doesn't really

Entroducing and Maxinquaye are both EXCELLENT picks. I'm surprised to see Surf over Acid Rap, 10 Day or Coloring Book. It seems like kind of a inconsequential work in comparison.

I just looked it up and TGTB&TQ were on the Sunday and I didn't stay all weekend. TGTB&TQ were the last band I saw, and they were on the Saturday.

I don't remember Arcade Fire being there! Maybe I wasn't there on that day. I didn't know Stewart Lee at the time, which is a shame because now I love him and wish I'd seen him.

It may well be time for me to revisit it. My enjoyment of Big Boi has only grown over time, while my appreciation for Andre has remained pretty steady.

YES! 2007 it was! I also saw Joan As Policewoman, Rodrigo Y Gabriella, CSS, CYHSY, Bat For Lashes and Seasick Steve!

The inconsistency of Speakerboxx/The Love Below always prevents me from thinking of it as a top tier Outkast album. For me it's kinda on par with Southerplayalisticadilliacmuzik.

On it! I will report back!

Was it Latitude festival in Suffolk?

He's definitely worth checking out. Very dense wordy lyrics and minimal production. Doesn't really sound like anyone else, imo.

I have seen him play live with Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon and a string quartet and a The Good The Bad & The Queen show. He was awesome.

I am going to listen to the album that gave you your name as soon as this Midnight record is finished.
