Liquid Swords is an all time classic, obviously, but GZA's next two releases (Beneath The Surface & Legend Of The Sword) aren't too shabby either. Legend Of The Sword is particularly worth checking out. It's not as perfect as LS, but it's very good. The production is super soulful, and GZA's flow is killer, even if

I saw that one when it came out, and it's very interesting. I am not surprised to see Aesop Rock and Wu-Tang members dominating the top spots: Clever lyricism and verbosity are there trademarks. Similarly, no-one thought DMX would be high in that ranking. His trademark is his delivery and attitude, not his vocab.

No love for Subterranean Homesick Alien?? Unbelievable!

The end tag in episode 4 regarding those slogans is tge hardest I've laughed at CEG so far. And that's saying something

Yeah it actually does work quite well as a conceit. It's a weird idea in it's conception, imo, but it does end up working. Godzilla-As-Nuclear-Bomb-But-Also-Nuclear-Fallout is such a great conceit with so much depth to plumb, that I'm not sure it needed replacing.

Yeah, those are two of my top tunes as well. It was a damn good night.

Darth Vader is weirdly presented as a kind of Chaotic Good force that tries to maintain balance, but he's so fucking awesome it doesn't matter.

Based on previous Gareth Edward's work, Felicity Jones is unexpectedly killed off in the first act, then we spend the rest of the film following round an aggressively bland white dude. We only see hints of the titular Star War until the final 20 minutes, and then there's a dope-ass battle that nearly makes up for the

Matthew 25:21 is fantastic. I recommend The Life Of The World To Come (the record that that track, along with Isiah 45:23, Genesis 30:3 and Ezekiel 7, is from), It's an excellent record. It's a very good set list, but a somewhat weird one. He picked really great songs but not exactly well known ones or fan favorites.

It was so good. One of the weirdest, most mixed crowds I've ever seen at a show, but every one of them from 13 to 83 (literally) hanging on John's every word. The band were fantastic, with Matty Bones elevating the songs to some incredible heights with some beautiful sax & clarinet. Weird set choice, drawing very

Brief review of the Mountain Goats, at Ashbury Hall, Babeville, Buffalo:

First Star Wars feature not to be scored by Williams. It will be interesting to see how Desplat navigates such well-worn territory.

Yeah, those people I feel really sorry for, especially because the ones who are aren't mentally ill are preying on those people's illnesses and exacerbating their symptoms.

Jesus Christ. These people. I'm actually working on some writing about a conspiracy theorist right now. It might turn into a novel at some stage. It totally sprang from how fascinating I find guys like this.

Oh man, I totally know the guy you're talking about. I can't remember his name, but he is the absolute WORST. He was part of the whole Gamergate thing as well. I've seen a TON of his videos.

I didn't know about that, but it doesn't surprise me.

You are killing these recommendations Stephen.
