Ah, there were a couple of clever lines :)
Ah, there were a couple of clever lines :)
This is a Clickhole headline, right?
There's definitely something dark in there. Course, Phil Collins's Speedy Gonzales accent doesn't help matters.
Dig that chord structure on the verses :)
TOO FUCKING RIGHT IT IS
"It's no fun / Being an illegal alien!" - "Illegal Alien" by Genesis
"Thank you, that was the joke."
I really like "Broken Wings," and what's great about it is another thing that might annoy most people: its repetitive quality. It starts locked in a groove, and it ends locked in a groove. It never really… takes off, especially at the bridge: all that frustration and anger, trying to get out, and it never… really……
You are not entitled to find that cover's color fascinating! THERE ARE NO COLORS!
I can just imagine the conversation:
"Here's my secretary, Ms. Sharon Stone."
"Hey, Osama! Plan the jihad on your own time!"
I'm still not clear on why they even hired her. I'm sure she was funny on other shows, but she did NOT fit in with The Daily Show.
From "He's Guilty," when the head of the jury is giving its verdict:
I really liked the live-action SCOOBY DOO, too; don't know if it'd hold up now, but I remember liking its subversiveness (seriously, SCRAPPY DOO IS THE BAD GUY :) ) Also, c'mon: Matthew Lillard was pretty much The Shaggy.
I wouldn't either, but since I know next-to-nothing about sports, Mr. Beige became the center of that scene.
Michael Stipe, as the world's oldest lead of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" :)
As a huge fan of his work, Randy Newman's BORN AGAIN is a damn interesting album - because coming away from it, you don't so much think of the satire as you think, "…Um, Randy, are you okay?"
Matthew Broderick's scene. (pause) What the fuck?
I was shocked to find out the magazine head was played by Tilda Swinton; considering what a distinctive presence she usually is (just in terms of looks!), I can't believe I had to be told by the credits!
