That JVC amp has a really unique look to it! Currently my setup is a Sony TA-1150 integrated amp from ~1974 alongside a Sony ST-5130 radio tuner of the same vintage. My turntable is a Technics SL-J33, fully auto linear tracking unit from 1986.
“When I’m not on Craiglist looking for cheap, vintage stereo gear it’s because I’m on Craigslist looking for cheap, vintage cars.”
they arent slideshows on mobile! thank god
No!! Please God no. I thought the St James twofer was bad enough
the blockchain defenders are here and they’re very dumb
St james Ave and St James blvd in Springfield
MA. They are both important roads in the town, and intersect each other. They are objectively fine names, but their being *the same name* with a difference of Ave and blvd is bafflingly dumb
I hate seeing the rationalization of “well this isn’t as energy and resource intensive as bitcoin” as some kind of free pass to everything that is a more efficient blockchain.
I did my first playthrough of AR back in September/October and got to the in-between ARR and Heavenward stuff where you are now and just absolutely dropped the game. And that was after the developers rebalanced ARR and pre-Heavensward stuff. I thought the final dungeon sucked for similar reasons, and my interest in…
I remember helping my mom buy a new car in ~2013/2014 when I was a senior in high school. We were at a Hyundai dealership where she eventually purchased a white Elantra. Inside the dealership was an Elantra GT - the hatchbacks. As we were looking at it, salesperson was like “do you [my mom] want to drive a stick…
Mario 3d world’s co-op also sucks in my experience. I played a few hours in 2 player with my roommate, and then a bunch more with my girlfriend over the weekend. Roommate also games a lot and we breezed through without much frustration. Girlfriend is a lot less so, most of her game time is like Mario kart and stardew…
Most main event stuff is voice acted, and voice-acted very well. The performance direction and localization are top-notch. It’s been a few years since I played the game, but there is still a modest amount of unvoiced dialog - largely in side content, and it is pretty snappy throughout.
This is true. This is incredibly true
The Roman from Regular Car Reviews did a documentary (i guess) about this same thing a few years ago. The Dale is an incredibly weird tale.
And I played Episode Ignis!
Damn I played through FFXV in 2019 and would've been hard-pressed to even remember Ravus. Your points are compelling and I can't say I disagree with them, but he apparently never made an impact on me. I guess I should have watched Kingsglaive?
Hell yes! 5-speed, great condition interior and exterior. We can figure out that top later, if it still goes up and down but just kinda funky - whatever. That’s maybe a little more than I would like to pay, but very reasonable
Prompto's photography is one of the best parts of that game, hands down. I wish more games would do something like it.
I haven’t seen an optometrist recently, as the pandemic / quarantine / general state of everything has kept me away from all but the most crucial doctor appointments. I still absolutely stand by my statement. The Ferrari looks worse to me. And i am perfectly happy with a car that i like looking at but isn’t…
The Volvo is a better looking car between the two
