no of course! i agree that they could be very bad, but if it works similarly to Titanfall 2 (which released all maps for free and has the rarely touched upon option for microtransactions) it should be fine.

there are no known microtransactions right now. The game is pretty liberal about giving points out and unlocks (at least in the beta) feel like they’re coming at a good rate.

DICE games can have that issue (it’s a huge detriment to my enjoyment of Battlefield 3 & 1) but this is definitely more focused and doesn’t take more than 10 seconds to start doing stuff. It’s a smaller and more focused game compared to Battlefield or the original Battlefront II (smaller specifically in play-count)
