It seems plainly obvious TikTok should be booted from the Play Store and Apple store. It’s unacceptable that customer data could be in the hands of a surveillance state, like China.

If he wants to retire, he can. He could have retired in 2000 and he still would have been the greatest film composer of all time.
I enjoyed both the episode and the series as a whole, but feel I’m in the minority in that I don’t need a 2nd Obi Wan series; more would put it at risk of being BOBF vol 3.5. I would, however, not mind seeing a Reva spin off, on how a former padawan/inquisitor moves on after the Obi Wan series. Do the inquisitors try…
I am amazed, though I shouldn’t be, that they got Liam Neeson back in costume for like two and a half lines.
I think it’s a commentary on how much the empire thinks of itself as unstoppable and infallible. No one would -dare- try to break in so why not do it that way. Security theater, not actual security.
I want to let Clarence Thomas know that if he really hates it so much, he can quit. Feel free, dude.
After all these years, I just noticed something... if this were a real ship, the position of the cockpit makes no sense, or at least, is a terrible design. Almost 90 degrees of the pilot’s view is obstructed.
Conspicuous consumption undoes whatever sexy quality this could have, and im gay af.
As long as MS is offering GamePass, they’ll be just fine. It sucks when your big hits get delayed and miss giving you big Q4 numbers, but the whole point of having a subscription service in the first place was to give them a constant, steady revenue stream and make them less dependent on tent-pole hits.
Reminds me of Comcast’s cable/broadband policy of signing you up for a one or two year contract with substantial cancellation penalties but they’re free to raise prices as they see fit and without notice for the duration.
Admittedly, I’m a prequel apologist… but the wonky dialogue to me feels more like a stylistic choice than just straight-up bad writing – like that chivalrous, “more civilised age” writ large, where every word carries massive portent both socially and dramatically… Anyway, compared to what passed for dialogue in the…
It would be interesting if they addressed some of the other Time Lords/versions that have cropped up over the years. Like his “daughter”, via cloning. Or his Granddaughter from way back in the beginning, who supposedly doesn’t live on Galifrey or have a Tardis, so was unlikely to be in the Time War.
It was Davies who wrote her mindwipe. Moffat took over when Matt Smith became The Doctor.
I honestly think it’s both. I think it’s probably very hard and very expensive to pull off stretching and embiggening powers in live action without delving into the uncanny valley and in that sense it makes sense to adapt her live action powers into energy projections. Especially on a TV show budget, even an MCU TV…
I think it’ll look fine when they do it in the MCU FF4 movie, as they’ll have the time and budget to deliver against just a couple hours of run time. Doing the same effect across six episodes of a D+ show...
Riiiiight? Like, c’mon... you’re not kidding us. This is the SAME REASON that the Fantastic Four tends to suck. Some powers can only really work well and be taken seriously in comic books, and elasticity is one of them. Invisibility is a tough one to put on camera as well.
You know the one defining characteristic I’ve observed in every single racist is this: they’re just fucking stupid.
Holy shit. These fuckers are emboldened as hell. This isn’t about sexual content at all. Disney characters aren’t going down on each other on The Disney Channel. What these senators are opposing is LGBTQ+ people just *existing.*
Didn’t read the article, but cannot WAIT to see Aang, Toph and Zuko again. Really missed those characters over the years. I loved Korra’s story, but I feel like there was so much left to tell with the original Team Avatar.
I would argue what Kurtzamn did with the whole Star Trek franchise would be his biggest failure.
