You can only do that if you start out with a salary that’s drastically greater than your living expenses. The vast majority of people don’t have that luxury.

Conner fumbling was a key step along the Browns’ comeback path in that game.
It seems to be missing any kind of multiplayer/versus mode. I play the first one with my mother every day and was looking forward to 2 but alas... :(
5-2 was the Tunisia game, not Panama. That one was 3-0 Belgium.
Pretty sure it’s going to be a travesty then.
IMO this is a perfect explanation of the real problem with TLJ. I overall liked the film but Luke’s descent into cynicism gets no explanation. What happened between RotJ and his training Ben, that he goes from being a person able to believe in the redemption of DARTH VADER, to a person who would contemplate killing…
Same thing happened to me after I gave an unfavorable review to a “psychologist” who ended up trying to recruit me into a cult...
It has that kind of “cinematic”, tell-don’t-show writing that makes it easy to digest for people who otherwise don’t read much. Robopocalypse is another good example of the same style...coincidentally Spielberg wanted to direct that one too. They’re more like adapted screenplays than proper novels.
Thou shalt not insult Hans Zimmer by comparing him to this hacky copycat trailer music stuff.
It’s definitely not just you. My hype level for this movie is even higher after seeing the trailer and I’m pretty disappointed that so many people seem to be disappointed.
I mostly agree but at least Elfman’s Justice League score is actually enjoyable at face value on album as an orchestral film score. I certainly wouldn’t say the same about Under The Skin! My bigger issue with Elfman’s score is Elfman getting the job in the first place, his sensibilities are harshly at odds with the…
After reading Tyrod’s comments I feel slightly better about the fact that every time Peterman did something bad I kept saying to myself variations of “you racist POS” at McDermott or whoever instigated this ridiculous decision.

Knowing absolutely nothing about the comic storylines you are referencing, your take still sounds way more interesting than the actual film.
Generally films need to make double their production costs just to “break even” because marketing costs and theater cuts have to be taken into account. So JL would be a money-losing flop until it has over $600 million and would not really be considered a success until it’s up closer to $1 billion.
I just want a dueling game with mechanics at least at the depth and believability levels of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. I am endlessly frustrated that 14 years after the last entry in that series, through which we’ve now gone through 2.5 console generations, there has not been a single Star Wars game with decent…
There are things the writer of the linked article does not understand relating to social dynamics.
Hey, Jacoby Brissett has been pretty decent, he’s not the reason the Colts are in last place right now.
As a former gymnastics child who grew up cheering for Romanian gymnasts for some random reason, this article made me sad and wistful...
I think the Grimoire system was a result of lead writer Joe Staten leaving / being fired (I forget which) within the last year of the development cycle. He and his writing team likely had copious notes on the lore they’d developed and the remaining Bungie employees likely lacked the time and motivation to do anything…
