I was talking about my dad, sorry it wasn’t clear. And yeah, it would probably go a long way if PP would make an effort to distill the crimes committed by the infamous video-filmers into short, easily digestible TV ads (or even website banner ads, if anyone still actually sees those anymore). I don’t actually watch

Yeah, he has already pre-concluded that the world is a place full of organizations that practice unspeakable evil as a business, so of course it would come out that PP is selling baby parts for profit.

My dad has a 160+ IQ and still believes the PP videos are real, simply because he wants to believe and thus hasn’t actually bothered to watch the videos.

Started Brown in my work fantasy league. Also started Drew Brees and received 70 fantasy points. It worked out in the end.

Sounds like it will be a great game on PC at 60FPS...you’ve given yourself the time you need, now please don’t screw it up Ghost...signed, someone who grew up playing the original Need for Speeds on a laptop with a Celeron processor in the 90s...

How many millions of dollars has Cassell flipped solely on the virtue of 1 season of managing a Belicheck offense to an 11-5 season?

Gooddell investigates Patriots organization whose owner in on a 3-person committee that determines Gooddell’s $44 million paltry, charitable salary.

*facepalm* there are plenty of games that are NOT like that too, y’know. Also, I wasn’t complaining, merely stating that what makes Velvet Room fear for the future of gaming is exactly what I love, and conversely what makes me roll my eyes is apparently part of what he/she loves. We all want more of the kinds of games

Yeah, things used to be a lot better, I think a lot of people either got axed or moved on after the “failure” of ACIII and since then they have clearly been much more conservative and stereotypical with their writing. Which is, of course, completely missing the point of what made AC interesting. Coincidentally I

Yes, then I might actually want to play more games instead of just rolling my eyes about how dumb, unrealistic, hypersexualized and pasty-white they look .

Every other Super I see it and I think I have a chance to take them down if I play it right. Not necessarily a good chance, depending on the situation, but I still feel somewhat in control of my own “destiny” (oh God I didn’t even intend to do that). With Sunbreaker though, I see it and I think “nope” and try to run

This is like if a company was failing and someone decided it was a good idea to blame their potential customers for hanging up on telemarketers selling said company’s products. As if that was the primary reason the products failed, as opposed to the products simply not being marketable enough. No, it’s not okay to

Now that I think about it, the only other time I remember hearing this expression was also on Deadspin. However, this could easily be subconscious biased memory loading based on your comment so I cannot be sure whether your theory is valid.

But that wouldn’t have been satisfying enough. He wanted to hit her. He wanted to display his dominance in front of the whole class. Like a big, low-IQ ape trying to show off amongst a tribe of fellow apes who were just peacefully chilling and didn’t want any trouble.

The AFC South, letting my team waltz into the playoffs all soft and fat from 6 easy (ish) wins every year, and get demolished the first time they have to play an actual good team. Thanks AFC South.

I have never taken a day off to play a video game before and I’m 29 years old. I’m taking 2 days off for Halo 5. It’s just been sooooooo long since the last one. I’m all Destiny’d out and I can’t even tell whether I’m more excited for the campaign, arena or warzone in H5. They all look fantastic. And 60 FPS is like

I just woke up, words are going directly into my skull and I automatically started picturing an actual circle-jerk taking place around a Scuf controller on a pedestal in a glass box. By the end, the glass was no longer clear. WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME.

Wrong comment

This is the moment where it really takes off: “With my steel-gray eyes”.... :D

I see your point but as I am a huge believer in and fan of redemption stories across every fictional medium (and even real life).....I would not have enjoyed that version of Star Wars anywhere near as much. Vader’s turn is one of the most cathartic things I’ve ever seen in my life. It makes me happy and gives me hope.
