What was truly lazy about it is Fisk had her death on tape. Getting Dex the tape, with guys he saw on his way into Fisk’s penthouse killing her, made so much more sense and eliminated at least the clarity of the Fridging. Fisk Kills and threatens people, women, men and children so her being killed isn’t that big a

I do admire the fact that Nadeem is from an Indian-American family and except for the wedding picture it wasn’t a part of the story at all.  That’s what diversity should look like in media.  Law and Order would have had his wife in a Sari every time we see her, “Look, look diverse cast!”

Yeah, I know the NYPD hates him for getting so many officers killed, but the strings he pulled on the FBI agents could have been used by anybody.  The fact that he killed your buddy doesn’t mean you’re going to let him kill your children.

Shows with legal processes that resemble the actual practice of law are called cancelled.  Better Call Saul gets it partially right, with Kim’s slogs through zoning documents but that’s not the focus of the show.

Meaning she’s too young to have been born into a Nazi regime, especially since the stuff she was saying happened when she was a toddler, actually happened in the late 1930's up to the early 40's - she’d have to be at least 80 yet she looks young for her age and then they put a blond wig on her.  They should have had

I love Leslie Ann Warren as much as the next guy and I’m glad she’s getting work - but couldn’t they have found somebody remotely old enough to have been a child in the late ‘30's early ‘40's?  She looks great for her age and she’s at least ten years too young for who she’s playing.

I haven’t watched the whole thing so this isn’t a spoiler, just an assumption. I don’t think Matt does kill Bullseye. I think they somehow get that tape of Fisk having Julie killed and Bullseye kills Fisk, probably while sustaining enough damage to die.

Or to quote how he conveyed this major plot point to River Song:

I’m sure this is already said down there somewhere - but we do know one person in The Good Place.  In the first season Eleanor asked Michael about the Presidents and he said, “They’re all in the Bad Place, except Lincoln.”

It’s so bad at one point early on - before I turned it off - I wondered, “Is this a satire?”

I recommend the time machine option.

As someone who works in the financial services industry let me assure you, the quality of Netflix stuff in no way effects it’s stock price over any reasonable period of time.  Sure a lawsuit or media flack can drive the price down for a day or two - but subscriber data is all that matters.  If more people are signed

Hannah’s adopted father is a Commander also, plus he has that sweet summer house so he could be even more senior than Waterford.  I don’t think Waterford can do anything to Hannah.  He just wanted to leverage Hannah for less resistant sex from June.

You are correct, that’s why they should do three or four great seasons instead of one great season and then nine awful ones.  The reason Lost, Weeds and Homeland don’t have the cache of Mad Men, Breaking Bad or The Wire isn’t because they didn’t have their moments or great acting.  The first seaons and a half of

Exactly, under the analysis the French Resistance was made up on serial killers.

So, so much to say.

Exactly, so how much do they want for just the A/V club.  Could we all chip in like $1,000 with a promise to migrate the comments back to disqus?

I realize there are lots of typos in the above, it’s not poorly edited, it’s presidential.

I wrote after last week that I was willing to forgive the lack of forward momentum in that particular episode because is was such a beautiful acting opportunity for Moss - yes it’s Emmy bait but it was amazing to watch - she’s probably the best actress working today.  But since nothing came of that episode, since

Just to add to that idea, if Netflix really wants 13 episodes, why not make them 40-42 minutes.  Hell the finale was what, hour and ten?  Cut ten minutes off each episode and you basically shave two hours off the show.
