Well the VP was secretly Randall Flagg, embodiment of evil.

Murphy had her baby on the season finale in ‘92 so that kid should be rounding age 26 by now - not finishing college, finishing a doctorate. This is just a really dumb idea - especially having Corky still be on the air. I mean a sexy newswoman remaining in her job after the age of 50? Cue the laughs from Deborah…
Martin Kove is very much alive, and apparently a huge, huge dick. Listen to Bill Hader tell stories about him on WTF back when he was a PA on some stupid straight to video movie Kove was doing. I think even in this vain quest for cash and relevance they’re still not asking him back.
My name is Shlomo Hillel, you disagree with my interpretation, prepare to argue.
According to IMBD, Daniel Craig is 5'11" so right in line. However, Temuera Morrison - Jango Fett and the person from whom all the original storm troopers were cloned - is only 5'8" and Mark Hamill is 5'9" so he’s really not too short to be a storm trooper.
In an early episode Bill was hypnotized if I remember it right, and was told he liked eating dog biscuits. For the rest of the show he would just be casually eating dog biscuits at various times with no mention of it by other characters - that’s commitment to a gag and one of the things that made that show so great.
The shot of Vader having his helmet put back on in ESB was exactly what I thought when I saw that photo.
So I think I can encapsulate a lot of what I’ve wrote about past episodes that carries over to this one and sum up the biggest problem this show now has beyond the fact that Kevin, Vee & Frank are unnecessary and have been for a couple seasons. It’s this: Why doesn’t Fiona love her siblings anymore? Lip is barely…
The fact that George Reeves was playing Superman yet never bothered to try and lose the 25 or so pounds he was overweight always made me laugh - Black and White Superman with a gut is always funny.
That should be Bjorn’s new wife, not wide. I’ve tried editing it five times and it doesn’t change.
I had high hopes for the first half of this episode. I was thinking - okay Hirst needs to thin down the character ranks so we can concentrate on the war between Ivar and Alfred that is to come. So giving each character a flashback / flash forward into the battle and then killing a bunch of them off seems like as good…
You don’t just get to give an ultimatum to a child you are legally responsible for. I can’t tell my daughter, “you get your belly button pierced and I’m not buying you food anymore” at least not without child protective services coming around.
There’s so much going wrong with this show besides the basic fact that no show, no matter how good, should be on the air this long. My biggest issues are that Fiona, in a huge and pivotal story line from a several seasons ago; was made the legal guardian of her minor children. Those children, based on how old they’ve…
As I said before, it seems more like Hirst outlined the season and then realized The History Channel wouldn’t pay for it.
Absolutely - but the cathedrals were all “de-sanctified” first.
Last week was bad and this week got worse. I really don’t understand what they are doing with this season at all. If they want to drag out the ending conflict of Ivar vs. Alfred that’s fine - then let those plots actually happen. It’s like they introduced new plot lines; Bjorn going back to the Med, the civil War,…
I haven’t seen enough of the other possible nominees to say whether or not this should be best picture, or even nominated for it; but doesn’t this discussion by itself prove that it was a well done and thought provoking movie? Were any characters actually redeemed? Can Rockwell’s character’s selfless actions to find…
I will give the writers credit, they took a half hour battle scene with hundreds if not thousands of extras and somehow turned it into the worst episode of the show so far. I think the show is starting to realize how much Fimmel’s absence has set them adrift, so they’re going out of their way to keep Lagertha…
Apparently smoking doesn’t just stunt your growth, it can reverse it. Poor Princess Margaret shrinking almost 6 inches in just a few years.
Because it’s this show. If all of a sudden late in season two, Downton Abby had an extended, nudity filled sex scene between say Tom and the School teacher - it would have just been tonally off for what that show is. I know sex it part of life - Elizabeth has two children - but they didn’t show the conception. Game of…
