"Listen, we love Conan. He's a big part of our network and our future plans. We just don't want him "on the air' or "hosting a show" or "affiliated with our brand" anymore - but we love him and this doesn't mean anything." - Random Ted Turner Nephew who gets to run TBS.

I like that, Magnus becomes part of Alfred's army and kills Largetha during the Great Heathen Army raids - or Bjorn kills her somehow, perhaps by accident. Can't be any of Aslaug's sons - that's too easy.

Don't forget that he has a son who should be in line for succession - but it seem pretty obvious that Ecbert wants Alfred to be King after him, which kinda sorta happens in a very round about way 40 years after Ecbert dies in history.

I assumed he'll be Alfred the Great and the same kid will play Ivar - he's an adult not like the Kid who played Bjorn who had to go from like 12 to an adult. They've shown with Ragnar that they know how to make somebody look convincingly older - longer beard with gray hair in it.

Wow, that's heavy Doc!

Or does an adult Magnus come in to play sometime later on? He must be a playmate / friend of Alfred - does he become a character who wants revenge on the "real" sons of Ragnar?

I love this show so I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt without Fimmel (and maybe without Winnick based on the previews) but I don't know how they're going to do it. I loved that scene of Alfred playing chess with Ivar, because Alfred beats him just when Ivar thinks he has it all won. Pretty much

The best sequel to Aliens is Starship Troopers.

Except 12 isn't supposed to be able to remember Clara.

And he wasn't finished with his sushi yet, that stuff is expensive and it doesn't keep.

I think you're probably right, the rumor around town is probably that he did it on purpose, and those things are hard to tamp down - and while she maybe didn't encourage it, she may not have dispelled it either. and that's why he can't live there

The only problem I have with the movie is that you can't buy beer at

That's disappointing to hear, I always liked Ruth Negga and Joel Edgerton and was hoping they would get a film that would propel them into the stardom they deserve.

Sam Waterston's eyebrows are slowly taking over his face.

Yes, Chastain is the one who can act.

Shakespeare in Love had a Tom Stoppard script, and Stoppard is brilliant, so it was hard to screw up.

Every bit as probably as the "secret plan to destroy Isis."

Azerbaijan: We're not the prison from that Harry Potter Book, unless being that makes you want to visit - in that case we very much are the prison from the Harry Potter book.

I have no problem with profanity or shows that use it (hell I use it enough) but only on a show that so scrupulously avoids it - and for obvious reasons - like this one does a line like "Make sure you don't sit on him" have so much impact. You can see how it would start that multi day fight.

So Teti's Mom then?

I like SOA, the Bastard Executioner was all the worst parts of Sons with no humor or acting ability. But Sutter is a really weird guy - I'm convinced he shot the scene of Katey tied up and raped by Henry Rollins for his own amusement.
