Unfortunately no. My senior management generally sees the staff as a lower caste than them.

I have 91 sicks days. I’ve been here 12 years and they used to just accrue. New management and you only get 5 per year but I’m grandfathered in. I’ll be mentally unwell for 91 days soon.

Lender here for a small credit union for teachers. We do a lot of auto refinances and I always wondered why people would finance with the dealership at a higher rate and then would tell me they were told they can’t refinance or payoff the loan for 3 months even though the contract says there is no prepayment penalty. 

My boss is the absolute worst. He was from a small town up North and then moved to a large southern city with a strong black and LGBT population. He hadn’t been around anyone other than straight people. I’ll tell a few instances of how he was “insensitive” to my gayness.

As a lender for a credit union, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to explain this to people. They think Credit Karma is the one score that rules them all.

I’m a lender and when we do consumer loans we always ask if they pay rent and put that into the DTI calculation. Also, we are starting to see rent reported to the credit bureaus in some instances. These are usually big apartment complex chains though.

I agree with you. My boyfriend and I both voted for Woolard. We both feel that bottoms is an extension of the big developers get whatever they want.

The question for me is do I upgrade from my Nexus 6P? It’s got one more year of security updates and it seems to work fine. All I really do is surf the internet on occasion and text/call. I don’t take many pictures and no video and I don’t use Facebook/Instagram/SnapChat etc.

I would agree with you that it just kind of glossed over the other STI’s and the self loathing messes who are cracked out of their minds.

I hate that his protest cost him his job but I lost a lot of respect for Colin Kaepernick when he said he didn’t vote in the election. As former Representative Barney Frank said, “Protesting is great but you have to vote. Voting trumps protesting every time.”

Could you expand further on how you network with colleagues? Social media just isn’t for me (I have nothing against anyone who uses it). I don’t see anything but these horror stories about it ruining people’s lives. Do you just use FB messenger or something along those lines?

I’m confused. For vegetarians/vegans, isn’t most of their diet carbs? I always thought fruits and vegetables were “good carbs” and diets high in processed food/sodas and lots of meat were bad?

Wow. I’d love to have a sliver of this kind of work environment. My CEO continually ask me about “my people.” I remember back when I started people thought when I got a cold “my AIDs” was flaring up. Got to love uneducated/ignorant people of all races.
