I’m a VP at a credit union and I have this discussion all the time with the executive team. If someone is on check systems they are a dead beat to them. I personally feel we should have a $0.00 opening checking account and no fee if direct deposit. We shouldn’t let them overdraft and we shouldn’t give them a check

Thanks. From what i’ve read co-pays and deductibles are really just marketing by the insurance companies. You need to focus on premiums and out of pocket maximums.

I’m close to being on track but I only do 6% of my salary into my 401(k) to get the company match dollar per dollar.. Small company with some fees i’m not too fond of.  I max the Roth IRA and this year will be the first year I try a HDHP with HSA. We get $1K into it and I’m going to fund the rest. Seems smart but I’m

I don’t have a kid but I’m a guncle to a 4 year old who was adamant the other day when she was playing pretend that she could milk her boy cow as well as her girl cow. When I told her you can’t milk boy cows. She told me to stop b/c I was hurting his feelings.

Never had one and don’t want one. I prefer to be cordial and professional but not give any details on my personal life. I just stay in my office and work away and sign a card when it’s someone’s birthday, funeral, etc. When 5:00 hits, I’m out the door. If I quit, I’d never speak to any of them ever again. I’ve been

So if i’m a Pixel 2 user thinking of joining the iphone family what phone should I get? I was thinking of the 11 pro since it has an oled screen but seems apple yanked them and I’m on verizon in Atlanta and their 5g offering here is dismal.

Or you could do like my gym (L.A. Fitness here in Atlanta). Start off with mask required and temp checks but let members take them off after you get past the check in desk and then move to a sign on the door that says, “We encourage you to wear a mask as a courtesy to others” and not say a word to anyone walking in

As and an android user (pixel 2) and a windows user at home and at work, I’ve been wondering about this as I think about trying out an iphone. I have to say texting from my windows laptop using google messages is nice since the vast majority of my friends/family refuse to use anything but iMessage and I personally

Outside of this article, there is a deeper concern that someone needs a loan of $20 to $200.00. As a executive in a credit union, some of this is fault lies in how our country/financial system is set up but there are also those who just can’t handle their money or have never been taught how to.

Nope. You have to download google messages and be on a certain operating system I believe. I know samsung is supporting it in the newer phones but older phones and those from other manufacturers aren’t directly supporting it from what I understand in their own messaging apps.

David,

I’ll take this spreadsheet with a grain of salt. As someeone who has worked with C-Suite executives, I’ve seen horrible things happen in society and their response to marketing falls along the lines of “put something out that says we are anti-(fill in the word here). Maybe this will garner some (goodwill, make us some

I just messaged my physician about this because I always test low. I’m a white guy in GA who had a skin cancer (basal cell) and always wear a ton of sunblock. I asked if 1000uh is good for me and he actually said 2000 for me daily.

I still go to work but thankful the credit union branch is closed to outsiders now. I will occasionally see a friend or family member but only from a distance. I’m in GA and when the governor lifted the orders it was back to business as usual here. I drove by plenty of restaurants and outdoor seating was wall to wall

I’ve been canceling my vacations left and right. I still come into the office 3x a week and it’s almost a relief not being at home. I should probably still take a few days here and there.

Drinking Diet Coke. I had quit drinking it for years. Also, watching my neighbors have sex. Just fyi, not being creepy. They literally pull back the blinds and start plus I’m gay and my husband I generally comment on how their house is decorated and/or dirty.

No. He learned later in life how to handle finances correctly but has definitely increased his skill set since dating me. We are both frugal so that helps.

I want to know what’s the deal with this trend of people working out (specifically legs) with no shoes on and just in their socks or barefoot.

You guys pay it off in full right? Just want to make sure I’m understanding your comment correctly.

Partner and I keep our money separate for the most part but have a shared account we deposit into for bills.  I’m a little more militant about my money than he is so it keeps the peace.
