Acutally Jon, that’s exactly how I used to run novice/stock class. The challenge is never in the theory of the math, it’s in being able to do it on the fly, and make the appropriate corrections. Running turn to turn will get you close, and then you can work 10th of mile or 2/10ths of mile hacks from there.
