I had to decide between a BRZ and a Focus ST this spring. The Focus ST won this time because I wanted to be able to transport my bikes an kayaks with one only car. Otherwise the BRZ would be in my driveway.

I agree for me the ST2 seats are absolutely perfect, the most comfortable I've ever been in a car. A few of my friends don't fit them all that well, but yeah I bought the car for me to hoon on the twisty roads of northern Michigan, autoX and the road courses around here.

It's a wonderful car, but just doesn't have the appeal of the NA and the NB. The ND though I believe is going to sell really well, assuming they put the right stuff in it. I think it will get some people to take the leap into a new Miata, that couldn't justify the NC as an upgrade.

Owned one for 9 years. Absolutely loved that slow blue box. Did lots of autocross and a track day. Sold it last year and found the new owner already crashed it.

This is my problem with the car. I went to test drive one last week. It was fun to scoot around in sure but the interior was sooo poor compared to everything else IMO.

Um if your going to compare apple to apples instead of apples to oranges, the top of the line Focus is the Titanium not the ST which has 160hp and can cost 27K if so inclined. The new 3 is right in line with the rest in this segment.
