Completely agree. That was absolutely the time when I felt he was most convincingly cold. This episode was an improvement overall for him. Really, it may not be his fault, it is just hard not to see some of his other personas shine through regardless of what he does.

Lois Smith basically calling Elizabeth "evil" was a very weighty piece of dialogue - really amazing scene.

Completely agree about the revenge scene. Her storyline was so dark and creepy. Had they allowed the pure imagery of her being dropped off with her dad on the leash, it would have been so much better.
