Maybe work with the condo association to have chargers installed?

“ The idea that the state has more money to throw at this is laughable at face value”

The state is running a surplus of about $25B.

I’m all for green-ifying transport (I happily own a Prius!), but 860W is probably the “at noon on the equator” number, and is still only barely more than a horsepower. Imagine leashing two pro cyclists to the front of your car chariot-style- that’s how much power you’re getting.

Jesus people are still peddling the bullshit about it being hard to find a gas station with diesel? I didn’t understand this in 2012 when I got my Golf TDI, and I especially don’t understand it now.

PG had the right idea, wrong car.

I want to get into a fun car, something I can modify and still enjoy on a cross country trip, or an Autocross event. I like the weird and the rare.

In what universe is a 200,000 mile Lincoln Town Car about to break beyond repair?

My god I love the three flash system and every time I’m stuck in a car that doesn’t have it I feel like I have traveled back to a less civilized age.

In fact, desptie frequent incramental updates both have been around for a loong time (far longer than the start of deliveries would indicate: due to Tesla’s habit of

There’s no such thing as too much turbocharging. They just need to raise the redline beyond 6250 RPM, and reintroduce a bit of lag to make it more dramatic.

I’m about to get back into bikes after 12 years. I haven’t bought my next bike yet, but the one I’ve chosen is the MotoGuzzi V7 III.

I took the a version of the MSF course two or three years ago and picked up a 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 about a year and a half ago. It’s been great fun!

Ahem! How about a M35h/Q70 hybrid? Here’s mine!

How the hell has no one suggested the Kia Stinger yet?

So a thought im trying to get through my neighbor. Youre 50, its says less a midlife crisis and more that youve made it in life to have a luxury sedan.

There are sooooo many people that would be delighted to own a new Chevy Cruz but can only afford a broken down 10 year old cobalt or civic. So maybe “No wealthy car snob has ever been delighted to own a Chevy Cruz” is more accurate.

So what?

A couple of counter-points: when the provincial government in Ontario recently canceled EV incentives, sales plummeted so I don’t quite accept the “people would buy them anyway” argument.

The flip side to this is more hybrids and plug-ins hybrids should occupy more preowned inventory, so the people that would like an EV but can’t afford one, regardless of tax credits, now have more inexpensive alternatives.
