No thanks. It’s ugly and it doesn’t have the glorious naturally-aspirated V10/V12 that we’ve come to expect from Lamborghini. If I had that kind of money I’d rather find an LM002.

Worst Ferrari? Seriously? It’s a V12, if you think this is the worst Ferrari I kindly invite you to consider the Dino 208 GT4. No, not the pretty Dino, the horrible, slabby piece of shit with the Italian tax-friendly 2 litre V8 which made less power than an angry squirrel.

As long as we also end corn subsidies, funding to the Middle East to stabilize oil production, and tax breaks for oil companies I’m ok with this too.

MB moving the badge from the hood ornament to the grill just to appear more “sporty”.

Incremental increases in capacity by electric utilities? A general mix of natural gas, renewables, and maybe even some nuclear? It’s not like all these cars are going to come at once.

I know I’m being an old man, maybe a gate keeper and dozens of other crappy things, but it is not and never will be what a Disco is to me. I don’t even doubt its off-road prowess or that it’s fun to drive.

It looks like the world’s hippest washing machine, and it just bums me out.

yay, more oem-equipped cars with light bars that someone will inevitably turn on while using normal roads and have no clue how to turn them off, or just not care enough to turn them off...

Someone say SVX?

Forgotten? I have no idea what you’re talking about. A 550 has always had a place in my fantasy garage. I’ve always loved the clean lines with classic Ferrari front engine V12 layout. Yes, please!

Another good example against the aerodynamic argument would be the gen2 Mazda6. The regular 4 door sedan doesn’t have the wiper, yet the exact same body type 5 door “hatch” does. I owned a 5 door and that was the only way I could tell them apart.

Question: is that really so different from normal-person cars like the base model Camry/Accord/Corolla/Malibu/etc? I most certainly get that when it comes to a fun car, you want a *car*. But for the boring A->B commuter? People don’t care about feeling connected to the driving experience, they’re trying to escape

That Riviera is a beautiful design. But I think it’s predecessor has it beat.

You’ve basically just told me to ignore every Buick made since I was old enough to recognize what a car was. “They made good cars before you were born” is not exactly persuasive.

The 159 is pretty. This looks like a slightly melted 3 series.

Please elaborate. I thought they were saying that forcing people to carpool had a positive effect. Carpool lanes don’t actually force people to carpool and therefore don’t have the same effect.

God damnit. 2009 really is almost 10 years ago isn’t it? Shit...

It’s only 6.5 in longer and 5 in taller. Width is exactly the same. New one weighs about 300 lbs more, which is a reasonable penalty for being livable in a crash.

Platform does not date back to a 90s e class

No legitimate warranty underwriter is going to provide coverage on a 13 year old, 140k mile VW group product. If you found one that did, it would probably cost as much as the car does.
