You load 16 tons, what do you get

I think the author made the unfortunate mistake of confusing a locked 4wd system with locked differentials. I don’t think he means you need lockers, but rather a locked 4wd system.

Hi, its me again. So one good reason why this is a terrible way to prevent unsuitable vehicles on difficult trails is that “AWD” is NOT a good distinction and its out of date.

Which would be an understandable move if there wasn’t inertial guidance, terrain following, optical systems, radar, lidar, various combinations, piloted drones, etc... available as well. It’s an inconvenience for opponents with the potential for an incident if not outright catastrophe. Putin knows we nor our allies are

True and Russia would welcome a passenger jet incident they could blame on Ukraine.

No, simplest answer is probably that it’s broad-spectrum jamming intended to disrupt long-range guided weapons, but you can’t jam military GPS while leaving civilian GPS alone.

Thankfully no issues yet but is Russia trying to create an international incident, an incident potentially with allies or supporters of their current adversary? I have a feeling that the actual threats wouldn’t likely to be fooled for long by what Russia is doing.

They used to have a company in the 80's that made hydrogen generators for home garages and used a hydrogen pump to push in with the fuel/air mix on old carburetor engines in an effort to get more power from less “fuel. The issue they ran across was that it did almost nothing until you get to really high percentages.

And the name constantly reminds me of the “copro” part of“coprolite”:

VW never knew what to do with SEAT, a brand which only had any significance as long as Spain was a protected market. And so they chose to make a spin-off brand instead. Baffling.

How did you miss throwing a “Ride The Lightning” reference into the article?

Did every suggested modification work on every car? They absolutely have drivable versions of this bike, it’s just that it’s running on some hidden normal motor rather than the radial motor. I don’t know why so many dweebs are getting all nitpicky about the series all of a sudden (jk I do know)

You’re thinking of Isadora Duncan, who was killed when her scarf caught in the spokes of the wheel of her car. Ironically, she turned down a cape, which wouldn’t have killed her!

Did someone piss in your cheerios again?

I’ll never understand the glorification of McCandless. He was a witless dreamer who brought about his own death by being ill-equipped and poorly trained for the wilderness (and where he was isn’t even real wilderness). So many people who accomplish amazing things in the outdoors don’t get a tiny piece of the

Honestly surprised no employees of these predatory towing companies have been shot yet.

Yeah, this is on upper management failing to have the right procedures in place, not the person on the line who had no script to deal with the situation and I assume a manager who didn’t know what to do either. But the rep has probably already been fired.

IIRC, wasn’t this an outside contractor running the telematics and VW already said that they have made it very clear going forward that they were to help regardless of subscription status? I am VERY sure that VW did not have a policy that said specifically “even in the case of a kidnapping, no subscription, piss off”,

I hope the guys who ran over the pregnant woman are dead.

one of the guys was caught on camera when they were doing the good deed.
