64-horsepower” Europe! Fuck yeah!

Yet again!

I came here to mention FG trucks, my work here is already done.

Ah 1970s Britain, a sinkhole of polyester flared, lank haired, parochial failure sneering at those who hadn’t fucked up as badly. The Thames TV intro brings it all back so vividly.

Spot on.

No, the EEC was have been a factor but the UK’s fortunes were more affected by a change in government policies and attitude that came in at the end of the 1970s.... But that is controversial.

I never mentioned death wobble. I didn’t have any reason to.

Again, all you have to say is that yes the Wrangler has P/T 4x4 so it was likely in rear wheel drive mode.

That is relevant to my interests. That and a diesel option would be right up my street.

There was a question mark at the end of that. So that makes it a question not a comment.

Hmmm. the fact that he’s a teenage, and hence likely inexperienced, driver in a vehicle with solid axles and a high CofG seems significant to me.

Yeah right and every 1.4 litre Golf is 400 hp Golf R.

Spot on, that seems to be the received wisdom amongst techs over he in the UK, people are beginning to look askance at the later VWs with 2.0 litres, both petrol and diesel, but the MK4 generation do seem to be simpler and longer lasting.

MK4s are damn good cars I reckon, later VWs maybe not so well built.

Our traditional parties are getting so divorced from the man on the street that I’m beginning to think we should take a gamble on a wild card like Trump.

“WITNESS ME!”

I know there’s a degree of federalisation, but as I understood it laws can and do vary from state to state across the USA. Was I wrong?

Trade deals take a long time to negotiate, even when you’re not dealing with the EU.

I think there is as clear a path as one gets in this uncertain life: “No deal”, i.e. WTO rules. This offers a bare bones foundation on which to build with further bilateral deals.

Indeed it was from what I’ve read. But that doesn’t mean States Rights don’t exist which still brings us to my previous question.
