I’m not about to take the stand to testify to GM/Ford’s honesty.

Thing about FIAT/Chrysler is: There are Italians involved and nothing gets big and successful in Italy without some level of dodgyness, because the place has so many nonsensical rules and regulations that nobody, no matter how talented, gets anywhere without bending the rules.
Obviously our British reds are a different type, it’s exactly the opposite here: our native reds are inoffensive, shyer and not aggressive as the American greys.
But why does it have a 1968 British number plate?
I reckon we’d have heard by now if Land-Rover had a new platform with solid axles, even if it was just the rear. No the likelyhood is that it will be based on an all independent car type platform shared with a Discovery.
I am seeing richer folks in Defenders but they’re hardly the car of choice. Or even a car.
Oh god, now you’ve said it I can’t unseen it!
So Benz is going soft too, so sad but the way of the world.

I have different method of extracting payment ... it involves an air rifle.
Our red squirrels are lovely, not nearly so aggressive and pushy as the greys.
Too late they’re already inside and breeding!
This is your fault America.
If you go back and look I think you will find it is on the right side.
“... it wasn’t the unions that were screwing things up back then.”
Looks like a cross between a Renault 4 and a Mini, good design.
I would also recc0mend a Discovery series 1, but then I’m biased in favour of old school Land-Rovers.
