I’m not sure which vintages would match up best, the R-R is designed around an aluminium V8 so a cast iron straight six hanging out over the front axle wouldn’t be too clever.
The training doesn’t seem anything special, just long because there’s a mandatory minimum amount of hours you have to go through - as opposed to the Brit system which is that you take the test when you’re ready to, or more likely when your driving instructor advises you to.
