My kid recently bought used iPhone 3gs on electronic swapmeet for $1. And we needed 30pin usb cable which was $5. It still works, with iOS 6 and it is virtually impossible to install any decent app/game on it. So on the next swapmeet he upgraded to iPhone SE for $5.
