Can't get it to pull up. What does it say?

Never, never, never, never….
it's not even remotely the best Hitchcock. The next poll will have Kane up there again.

Adolf with a "f".
Signed,
Not a Nazi, just a history major

The bad guys are a mixed race gang (White Boy Bob) just as the good guys are. That is a very diverse cast with representatives on every side of the law.

And on one for Ustinov's Billy Budd where he sits in with Terrance Stamp, and Point Blank with Boorman.

Nicky Katt is so great in Limey. Menacing and funny, and still very real.

Yeah, that the same man made Bugsy Malone and Angel Heart is amazing, and that they are both great even more so!

Favorite Finney performance is always going to be Miller's Crossing.

the Criterion just throws in the Underneath as a freebie. Not a major work, by any means, but still a fun little neo-noir.

Kubrick and the Coens get the same criticism, and I find them both able convey great emotion. Just because they can be amazing stylists, doesn't mean we have to label them emotionless.

Hey, that credit sequence in GWtDT is great!

That Del Toro section is what Graham Greene would have written if he'd done a novel on Mexican drug cartels. Just great stuff.

And for just $83,000, you can buy your own organic bonesaw blessed by the third best shaman in LA!

That prison library scene is one of my wife's all time favorites. It is quoted a lot. The way Cheadle says "yeah, you do" when Albert Brooks mentions that he needs Bausch & Lomb is so perfect.

Side Effects does not get enough praise. It is in all sincerity, the best psychological thriller since Blow Out.

Adrian Brody attacked me during a showing of King of the Hill, but he was just physically in the audience and drunk. Nothing magic to it.

If there's one thing I expect from 60s Stan Lee, it's nuance.

Man, what's wrong with Willingham?

I don't think he would be for their persecution. He hates Spider-Man, and may have issues with mutants, but he would want them to have full protection under the law.

That's a good list, but I feel I should take your belt and shoelaces.
