i don't think "reboot" has to imply a new continuity, the way remake does. it makes sense to use the word to mean reinvigorating a dormant property, which could include a sequel, prequel, spinoff, or remake, whatever, as long as the property had lost its momentum.

glad i decided to read the comments, cuz i just played and beat mega man 2 for the first time on monday and was baffled by how easy it was. i had previously beat 1 and 9 and remembered them being much harder. i really wanted to find out if others had the same experience, but then i realized i was about 27 years late

the new AV club ad framework also slows the site way down. it was becoming literally impossible to visit the site because a lot of times they'd crash my browser, even though i'm on a decent, modern workstation. i ended up having to reinstall AdBlocker specifically because of this site. it was that or give it up.

note: if you have 5 friends, 2 of whom are male comedians and 1 of whom is a female comedian, then your friends are mostly comedians and those comedians are mostly men, but most of your friends are not men.

you forgot how to play scrabble. while "photobomb" would be impossible to play in one hand of 7 letters, it would be a simple matter to expand on a valid move like "photo" or "bomb" to form the new word for credit. further, one could potentially add all 7 letters to a previously played instance of "to," to spell

the irony here is that marah is offering her personal opinion on the internet and you are taking a stand against the content.

um, it's not for that? kindle is a text reader. i wanted a text reader, so i got a kindle. it's practical and convenient and exactly what i was looking for.

i disagree with this article's assertion that this is a reboot. a lot of these holes in continuity just seem like mistakes to me.

pulp fiction definitely occurred to me, too. so did watches with batteries.

again, morgan would have waited for rick to die before waiting for him to turn. it could have been the dying that would take several hours, and the turning (reanimating) might still take just a few minutes.

and if there had been sexual abuse, there would certainly be lasting effects. that shit becomes a part of a person's psychology forever. the environment they all live in now would only exacerbate the trauma.

i think if merle had gotten back to the camp first, he would have raised hell on his own, not let some zombies do his dirty work. he seems like a guy who couldn't help himself from getting in people's faces, not like a guy who careful hatches a clever plan to eventually get the group killed.

obviously it was not explicit, but i do think that molestation was implied. we don't know for sure because the didn't tell us for sure one way or the other, but i think we were supposed to wonder a moment.
