This is how I’ve felt about Columbus for the last 17 years.

In fairness to ESPN, how much of the internal Barstool hate was known prior to the show becoming a thing? I might be mistaken but I believe I saw that Ponder herself notably kept her feelings under wrap until after the show became official. Should a general dislike of Barstool have been assumed on ESPN’s part?

I feel like you can take out John Skipper’s name and put in pretty much any major sports league commissioner or business CEO and the question would still work.

I think that trying to compare earlier time periods is just impossible. The Internet’s ability to mobilize large numbers of people to scour FB and Twitter histories and anything a person has ever said has led to pervasive social media firestorms and an environment where the specter of Big Backlash keeps companies like

Every word you speak makes me want to punch a millennial. And I’m a millennial.

So we’re suggesting U.S. soccer doesn’t deserve to be shit on?

“You don’t make wholesale changes based on the ball being 2 inches wide or 2 inches in,

You haven’t seen their new A to Z listing interface?

This is why I kind of like it when Netflix yanks something. It motivates me to finally watch the damn thing. I never would have bothered to see all the Hercule Poirot episodes I missed if Netflix weren’t losing it soon. Great show...

Add to this the awesome international shows that have subtitles where you literally have to pay attention to the screen all the time.

Can I just get shit in fucking alphabetical order, please?

This is the reason the NCIS’s of the world exist: low hanging fruit with similar plot line/story & episode format; rinse and repeat

I blame the fact that Mr Robot sucks.

O god don’t tell them you don’t care, that’s an open invitation to talk about The Wire.

Option fatigue is most definitely real. Netflix makes it way worse with how their site/apps are configured, with no real rhyme or reason except for seeminly random categories full of mostly garbage, with a few gems here and there that you have to hunt down.

People: Wow, you should watch the Wire!

Nope, too many books also. I went to the library, it was like a whole building just full of books I’ll never read. What’s even the point?

I like that there are too many shows. I can scroll through Netflix and say “Oh, I heard that was good, I should watch it some time.” Then I go right to the same 2 shows or 5 movies that I always watch and feel safe and boring and comfortable. But I thought about something different. And that’s just as good as doing

There has also been speculation that in the match’s aftermath, Neymar unfollowed Cavani on Instagram, though the evidence for that contention is a little less firm. (But not non-existent: Here’s a tweet showing that Neymar does not follow Cavani’s account right now, and here’s another one that purports to show that

You know the world deserves to die when a sports “beef” can be inferred by the unfollowing of someone on Instagram.
