Whatever happened....obviously it was not a secret between Jada and Will, and there is no “bombshell” or shady behavior.
Which makes me wonder why on earth August Alsina felt the need to broadcast any of this to the world...other than being an attention seeker on a very gross level. It would be one thing if they Read more

I don’t think we can even parse out the ‘nature vs. nurture’ conversation in a society where violence against women is constantly eroticized in every media format, while women themselves are shamed for expressing desire or displaying sexual agency. I know it’s nice to pretend our fantasies exist in a vacuum and our Read more

Sure., but I don’t want to speculate about how much is nature vs. nurture when it comes to women’s sexual desire. Like, maybe we grew up with Beauty and the Beast so now some of us fantasize about being kidnapped or maybe B&tB taps into something deep and primal in our lizard brains. I really don’t know, but I think Read more

Sadly, half the country would not recognize such microaggressions as instances of racism. So you are mistaken to say that everyone will agree that these are instances of racism that are causally connected to police murders. Read more

If you think this is the time (when the country is reckoning with the fact that police still usually get away with murdering black Americans) to pile on with a discussion of incidents “...which range from unfounded accusations of stealing to white-washed history classes” in elite schools, then I seriously have to ask Read more

Think about what your points would mean for porn. You basically are saying that porn should only consist of vanilla sex. Porn may be racist towards black people but it is also racist and promoting stereotypes for all other races. Further - arguably the most troubling aspect of porn is the sexism it portrays. So much Read more

I did that too!!! I had no idea what people were talking about with that smell, because I eat asparagus all the time and never noticed a smell. I guess I don’t have that gene.

It’s funny how literally everyone is taking this 4-year-old’s interview answers. He probably thinks her favorite food is asparagus because he once said “Yucky!” and Kim was like, “Yucky? It’s yummy, it’s my favorite!” I’d also wager that he tells people to leave him alone (I used to yell that a lot as a preschooler Read more

Typically that is how it is done, the teacher “interviews” the kid and then writes down the funny answers. It’s more a historical documentation of what the kid thinks at a particular age. Like asking them what they want to be when they grow up, or seeing how they view the world around them.

The most confusing part is that there’s no way that’s a 4-year old’s handwriting. Did Kim write this to herself??

Real Housewives entire reason for being is to show well-off women acting like stereotypes of their representative city/state/geographic area.  And those stereotypes are firmly rooted in ethnicity and race.  Read more

Honestly....they probably should have dived a little deeper to see if anyone owned the name.
And, she comes up now in a google search, but I’m thinking because their fans called them that for years, this woman might not have come up in a simpler search, fan sites for them and whatnot probably did. Read more

It was always going to get worse. The point of the lockdown was to keep the strain off the hospitals. Most hospitals are back to pre-corona levels so now we can open things back up slowly and the hospitals won’t be overloaded. If they start getting overloaded we cinch back down again for a bit. “Cops don’t care about violence towards women” because many cops commit acts of violence towards women.  Hitting women is normalized behavior in their view.

this has been a super triggering week for me, encountering “but what about rape?” as a counter to defunding, over and over and over again. My rapist is a police officer in my city, and I have barely talked about it before this week, but now I’ve been sharing it every fucking time this bullshit take comes up. Read more
