Hammond, you idiot!

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be compensated for the software--of course they should! But they should also have a reasonable return policy since it really costs them nothing to do so. If people want it, they should pay for it. If they don’t they shouldn’t be railroaded into buying it.

That’s not the point. If I compare the performance of a $70k Model S to a $35k Honda you would ask how come I’m not using the Model 3 instead.

Why are you comparing a $150k car to a $70k car and complaining about its price, when (as you mention) the base Model S is a direct competitor in terms of price.

It’s also larger than the Bolt and also isn’t styled like a $20k econo-hatchback, which should give it a big advantage over the Bolt aesthetically.

I am a human and I contain multitudes.

Maybe I’m in a bad mood today. Maybe that was the most lackluster cobbled-together unveil packed with outright lies I’ve ever seen and I don’t feel like dealing with Elon’s bullshit anymore.

In fairness, the Demon is dumb as hell and should never have been made. The Lucid’s

he asked if you are a cop

No, all the mask wearing is to show disapproval of me, the guy who cured Cordiavirus. The economy is fixed, the china virus is long dead and the Juneteen celebrations are in full swing. Who knew Americans cared so much about June and teenagers? It’s a lovely holiday, lovely like a lovely broad, like Ivanka.

Correction: the current battery is big sparky lasagna. The new one will be an even bigger sparky soup.

So the battery is a big sparky lasagna. Got it.

I assume the "why" is something along the lines of "fuck Obama" and nothing more.

He was blurring the lines between the two in an effort to sell me a Tesla

This is the same company that includes “tax savings” in the listed price of the car, because there’s no way anyone buying a Tesla might be exchanging it for another EV. Exaggeration is their M.O. It just happens to be a dangerous one when put in the hands of people with no common sense.

Re Autopilot: It’s a good idea. The problem is clearly the idiots that don’t understand the difference between driver assist programs and Blade Runner. Tesla can do all the software changes they want, but humans don’t read errors or user manuals. All they see is Autopilot. We’ll likely see data behind it soon too -

I don’t think anybody but Elon would think it’s out of line to recommend a name that doesn’t oversell the product’s capabilities as the current one does. I read an article on here a few months ago that compared Autopilot to Super Cruise, and the author pointed out that while GM’s system is more advanced, it’s name
