You might consider opening a second savings account, if your bank allows that. It will generally have better returns than a checking account, won’t have a penalty for taking money out (like a CD would), and won’t go down in value like a mutual fund might. Assuming you can manage it online, it shouldn’t take very long

One year, assuming I pay off my car loan in full (having just taken it out a month ago), and cash in some investments, but without touching retirement funds. Three to four years if I sell the car, close out the loan and cut down on discretionary spending.

Legos, now there’s something I can relate to. I put mine away when I went started high school, thinking I needed to “be more adult.” It made things worse. Even if you think something is childish, immature, laughable or you’ve outgrown it, embrace it and see if it makes you happy again.

That’s understandable. Please don’t think I’m trying to argue, but how would you prefer someone phrase a more severe mental illness, if and when they tall you?

I’ve been where you are, with depression weighing me down and feeling like I had no interests. What did you used to like doing? Try doing it again. Invest in it, love doing it, and don’t feel any shame. I’m a huge sci-fi dork, and while it might not be cool to my peers, getting back into that helped me get through my

I’m curious about your #1, since this article is about when people start dating. I struggled with very serious depression years ago, and while I’ve learned how to cope with it and it’s never been that bad again, the general fight to keep from falling back into that does affect my day-to-day life. How does someone

Plymouth Prowler.

It could be considered a safety issue, though. Not only are they harming the planet, but in releasing far, far more emissions than the legal limit, they could contribute to asthma attacks.

The...the location change IS that great. One of them is 64.6 and the other is 65.6, which is...one mile apart. “2 miles away” and “1 mile away” are...one mile apart.

Probably just a simple way of saying “no exit,” or “dead end.” At least that was my first thought.

Keep in mind the freedom from stress and worry, while very, very nice and definitely underrated, are not the same as happiness. I make enough that I don’t have to worry about bills and unexpected expenses, but at the same time that money doesn’t just make me happy by virtue of being.

“GAP insurance? Isn’t that like a torque ratio?”

I do this all the time at work (moving from workstations to servers, and back again) for backup purposes, and VMware does a great job handling this sort of thing. Cannot recommend them enough if you need that kind of setup.

My Kindle. $120, but has saved me a lot of money on paper versions of books, saved me having to buy bookshelves, and saves me time going to/from the library (not to mention late fees - library ebooks just disappear instead!).

But if you rip the movies, you could put something else in that place, something that can’t be stored on a hard drive. I ripped my entire DVD collection (300 movies...that was a long task), and now I have some original artwork and a shelf with small sculptures/trinkets where those large bookshelves used to be.

Absolutely. It can even be more expensive in the long run, because you may end up getting rid of something you’ll need later, so you end up buying it twice.

This is something that I keep having to tell myself.

THIS. This is all I could think of walking out of the theater. It was basically Episode IV all over again, with CGI.

This. This is what I do. My key fob is in my pocket 24/7, even if I’m not planning on driving, because it’s just easier to have it nestled under my wallet. Never a problem with this.

I think the real point of calling something a “first-world problem” is to show the person that it’s often just a relatively minor inconvenience. Not to dismiss them, not to ignore the issue, but to put it in perspective. If someone breaks their brand new iPhone 6s and complains that they need to use their old iPhone
