YES. This. Thank you.
YES. This. Thank you.
Nobody is saying succulents?
But have you seen a white BMW with a red interior? They’re fantastic.
You’d love my mom’s 1967 Mini. 0-60 in a thrilling 16.8 seconds.
30 seconds to a minute? An entire minute? If you've got someone waiting on you to find something, a minute is an eternity (trust me, my boss regularly takes a minute). If you don't know where any given item is, you need to organize your desk. Really easy to just do it as you go, rather than setting aside time to…
YES. I was thinking the same thing. I have two, maybe three people I would consider close enough to meet these criteria, and as an introvert that seems absolutely perfect for me.
My university cancelled classes for the first time in a decade last January. When it was -40F with the wind chill. And the cancellation was only for morning classes, afternoon ones were on because it was a balmy -30F.
I'd have to say that, at least in my opinion, the newer models they're working on are more distinct. They have the same grill shapes BMW's known for, but more aggressive styling that indicates being a more premium brand. My father has a 2007 335i, and it's so curved and bland looking that it's easily mistaken. The…
Don't all of the non-M BMWs sort of blend in? To me it seems like that's the point, to make a luxury car that isn't ostentatious, and that's what they seem to have done with their sedans. Personally, I like the approach.
It's like one of those damn toolbar installers. You try to avoid it but it shows up anyway.
That might be true in some cases, but it's also really easy to get distracted by little things and just completely lose track of what's going on. At least, that's been the case for me. Audiobooks are only good if I can relax and focus on them (without falling asleep).
It probably could apply to more forms of media, but reading is one where you have to pay close attention. You can easily be distracted from TV shows and movies, where they're more passive forms of entertainment, but reading requires conscious effort to create a sort of ongoing movie in your head. It really requires…
Out of curiosity, why checking and not savings? At least in my bank, I can earn interest in savings (miniscule as that rate is) while also being able to move the savings into checking at a moment's notice.
I found this book about five years ago, and it's helped me in so many ways. It really is just a great way to look at things, and lead a happier life.
It's absolutely an ultrabook - the category wasn't "Inspired by Intel," it was a response by PC makers, supported by Intel's investment, after the MacBook Air came out and companies realized it could be a reasonably good and popular market segment.
I can't be the only one who read that as
You won't hear about it at all if she can't call you. Problem solved.
At least I don't feel stupid saying "iPod Touch", "MacBook Pro" or "iPhone". "Thunderbolt" might be weird, but I don't feel like a the four-year-old son of an Apple executive came up with it.
"Cheeky" is the problem.
Could they have chosen a more stupid name? Is "Headphones" too normal for Apple now?
