@DangerousLiberal: As always, if you use Flickr, you have to have a Yahoo account. It's not a toy for people who use it.

@gravi_t: I guess it was just a flub on LH's part :) Out of their mini-list, Flickr is the only one - to my knowledge - owned by Yahoo. So, you're right, it's not 3rd party.

Yahoo's also allowing Mail users to hook in third-party applications like Flickr.

@DavinaSnail: You had me going, until I entered in my first two books, and was told "We are not accepting this title at this time". So, I quickly saw that they are just like most people. If a book is popular, and they have too many copies, they don't want it.

I just read an [www.fastcompany.com] on how Dubai has collapsed under its own over-construction. Half-finished projects, such as theme parks, are just sitting vacant. Even those thousands of homes they sold aren't even built yet.

@MetalOverlord0001: And 11 years later, there still is no demo for this freaking game. Glad the industry is growing.

@eagledrc: I don't so much care about the lyrics as the music... I was just providing a point of view from the "music industry" perspective. I know that they can't possibly all be shut down, but I think they likely look for the biggest hit rank-ers.

When you guys all want to go "digital download", just remember that there will be no clever-fonted lyric books to go with your new album purchases in most cases (Unless you count unwieldy, randomly assigned PDF versions on iTunes).

@surfmadpig: Hi, music industry here... um, we don't understand what wtf stands for, but we've heard that they sell these things called "Dictionaries", and we're going to look that phrase up in one of them real real soon.

@KagaSakai: I bought a used copy of Fable (released in 2004) this year at Gamestop. To my recollection, it cost between $30-35. This is unacceptable for an Xbox game that is clearly not rare, and I should've known better than to pay it. Apparently I was itching to play it at the time, and I clearly was wrong.

@Wewtaco: So people say. All I hear is "We're Google, and we prefer Windows, so we'll do that well ahead of anything else, and segregate our audience".

Awesome. I didn't know if this game would be for me or not... at least they understand that un-serialized games require demos. Any developer that says otherwise is lying. I've learned my lesson from buying too much crap.

Simple question. Why wasn't Chrome developed for Mac simultaneously with the Windows version?

Not bad. It'll be better when it works with all video sites, rather than just the few. Doesn't seem to work well with Twitter at all, with the links I've tested.

@MCWHAMMER: And done. Repper is a great "quick fix" for stuff like that (Found on Lifehacker a while back):

The background of that website is a wonderful keepsake. I just wish I could maintain the blue lines... I guess I'd have to screengrab and to take it to Repper to pull that off quickly.

@CitizenErased115: I just wish that commercials for games were that exciting now. That brings back a lot of memories... I might have to break down and buy a N64 again on shopgoodwill. Nostalgia is bad for the wallet.
