Actually, after looking at the license plate location I think the possibility of it being a Grand Am his higher.
The engine in the '03-'04 Cobra's was not 5.0 but rather 4.6 DOHC.

I believe that is Robert Russom of SpeedSouth here in Birmingham, Al. He did the same thing out at Talladega Gran Prix (small flat road track near Talladega Super Speedway). He is one ballsy driver!
