I tried to get into this show but every character being super annoying or making super annoying descisions over and over again eventually becomes a huge turn off. I just got tired of it.

It’s not terribly arbitrary. The shot’s been available and easily accessible for anybody in an area large enough to have an airport with a security gate since April 2021. Six months is a hell of a long runway.

The assholes (including several in this thread) claiming that we should ignore COVID and just go about business as usual are the reason this pandemic continues. They won’t make the slightest effort (stay in if possible, wear a damn mask when around others), they just keep incubating newer, nastier strains.

The perfectly healthy 20 and 30 year olds in my ICU would beg to differ if they weren’t intubated, paralyzed, and on ECMO with bilateral chest tubes. Not that means anything to anyone who claims perfectly healthy people do fine. Guess what? Even if you survive, you’re not perfectly healthy for a long time, if ever.
