Lifesavers gummy candies are vastly superior to the original thing. Nigh-perfect theater and road trip candy.

What kind of haribo though? Their gummy bears are vastly different from the haribo peaches!
Romans, Egyptians, Koreans, Chinese, Gemanic tribes of any flavor, Zulus, Aztecs...
Which they actually do.
As a post 9/11 US vet, I can tell you that the Law of War and rules of engagement are huge. You learn them, and then you learn them again. And when you move to a different unit, you learn them again.
The mass graves are from sectarian violence, not the US.
Millions? No. Lol, no.
Where’s the lie?
It’s called asymmetric warfare. It isn’t illegal.
Are you shocked that in an incredibly stressful situation, people behave irrationally? There’s a massive difference between the death of a civilian in a combat operation and My Lai. There’s a huge difference between civilian casualties from a precision munition aimed at a legitimate target and policy-level crimes…
nah man it’s not that hard. There’s some training involved, which she had. Also, if you saturate your blood with oxygen before starting you can go a crazy long time. Guinness world record for men is 24 minutes. So could an actress breathe pure O2 for a bit and then hold her breath for 7 minutes while not exerting…
You could free dive for 7 minutes if you trained with a pro and pre-oxygenated with pure O2 before diving.
I think the 7 minutes was her time in training, not on set filming.
It’s easy to say things like that when you aren’t personally connected to the history. But if there were some painful reminders of slavery (plantations maybe?), you and other US players might feel differently while Koreans might not understand.
As I recall, it is far more dangerous to be a pizza delivery driver than to be a police officer.
We’re just ignoring Genghis Khan & the Mongols, are we?
It’s actually quite a bit of food there. Add bread and you’d be eating a massive sandwich, albeit in pieces.
A basic walk down a grocery aisle tells me that it doesn’t have to be a rare treat. All of those items can be used in other ways, which means you’re not necessarily buying them just for one meal.
Being pedantic? They’re two different foods. It’s like saying sourdough and hardtack are the same because they have similar inputs.
gelato is not the same as ice cream though. Polenta isn’t grits.
