Only if you visit the same crooked body shop as Edmunds did. Even Consumer Reports (no fan of the blue oval) called BS on Edmunds' 2015 F150 body repair article.

Except that it's a coil sprung Ram 1500, so "loaded" means about the same amount of weight you can carry/haul with a mid size SUV, not even in the same ballpark as your parents' Ecoboost F150. Not much of a truck IMO.

Not exactly. They come in looking for a truck to haul or carry X weight, and they believe an F150 will do the job, however after looking at total loaded trailer weights plus passengers and cargo, they need an F250 or F350. The majority of people are indeed buying a Ford truck with the capabilities they need or want.

I disagree on leasing being bad for high mileage drivers. If the mileage is accounted for in the outset of the lease, the cost per mile is quite low. Many don't want to pay for the mileage they drive. They take a car out on a six or seven year note to keep the payment low but then proceed to drive 20k+ miles per year

In a lease the risk of the actual market value being lower than the residual is on the manufacturer/dealer. In those "payment saver" deals you are bearing that risk. So what happens when that Accent is worth half the residual value in the real market? You're with it, but ofcourse the dealer will "help" you by

"feng shui"? Is that why the steering wheel is offset to the right vs the driver seat? To better line up with your chi?

TCS is 110 km/h limit everywhere it is "twinned" in New Brunswick.

I'm quite sure the new Edge is based on the Fusion platform, and the sport version will be available with the 2.7TT V6. So there may be hope.

RTFM. (Read the @$#&ing manual). I haven't personally read the ATS owners manual but I would bet good money that it is stated clearly that the car does not have a spare or run flats. Yes the don't often change how the steering wheel or pedals work, but everything else about cars changer from model to model, or year to

"Here is the [insert next model year] Ford Bronco" captioning a pic of the 2003 concept or a photoshopped Raptor/Atlas. This crap is linked on Facebook and every hack automotive "blog" constantly and I wish it would just stop. I work at a Ford dealer and the salespeople get asked on a weekly basis about when we'll

This is also true of the most unscrupulous of car seller, the one who trades it in. He/she believes the dealership and it's employees are all crooks and therefore has no quams about pawing off his/her POS on them. Yes, the check engine light is always "just an o2 sensor", the air bag or ABS light is "just a loose

You just described the power delivery of an Ecoboost. Thast why they pull large trailers so well, albeit with a fuel economy penalty. The ecodiesel enine may also tow well and get decent fuel economy, but the abysmal payload rating of the ram 1500 chassis keeps it from doing any real work.

lol @ "instead of powering out lIke I should have". If you don't have enough traction to stop or turn, you're not "powering out" of anything. AWD/4x4 helps get you moving, after that it is all about the traction the four contact patches provide. It does not matter if there is power going to one, two, or four of them.

Wrong car. The MKC is a crossover and has no hybrid version. The MKZ is a mid size sedan that has a hybrid version and is the same price as the FWD 2.0 Ecoboost powered model.

Did you try out the Drive Control system at all? Three modes (Comfort, Normal, Sport) that adjust suspension, power assist, and engine sound.

420 = 435?? I know it's "only" 15 horsepower but its still more, and more than enough for most drivers. Can't tell you the number of ex civic/lancer/etc. owners I've seen put their "only" 420 HP gts into curbs/guardrails on the first rainy day drive. Just because there are factory 600 and 700+ HP cars doesn't mean

Ford has an excellent AWD system from the 2013+ Escape.

So much misinformation and incorrectly drawn conclusions. MFT was first introunced in the 2011 model Edge and 2011 MKX in the year 2010. It didn't show up again until a full year later in higher end 2012 Focus models. How can could it be responsible for such a large drop in reliability acRoss the entire brand for one

The dodge fan boys all come out saying how great this will be, but adding turbo charging and direct injection to a v6 to give v8 level performance is hardly groundbreaking. Ford has been doing it with the 3.5 ecoboost since 2010.

Certainly a great snow vehicle, but not for the locking rear diff. Locking rear differential is no good for commuting on snowy roads. It is an off road tool.
