What country do you live in? Certainly not in North America.

So what was the plan? Start a design element in the 60's and use it for 50 years for when they bring them to Europe?

The V6 is actually down on power slightly, but hopefully improved on torque response. The 3.7 in the old car had no grunt below 3500, but would scream to 7000.

While I can't speak to what goes on south of the border, in Canada GM and Dodge are the heavy discounters. I sell Fords and if we were the cheapest there would be no competition. It is well established that GM and Dodge are "buying market share" up here.
