That would be in terms of sheer revenue. Note that steam and other services takes a cut, plus actual development and overhead costs, not to mention the refunds they just mentioned and probably a whole bunch of other stuff it ends up being a lot less that goes solely into the profit margin. Saying that it’s still

I’m sincerely hoping that their next game is called ‘I’m trapped’.

Aye. In SF2 it very much felt like just a blind chase. Just keep your sights on the dot for as long as possible and mash fire. Make sure that they don’t escape.

I honestly reckon it was never as finished as they initially claimed. The actual rom itself clearly wasn’t, and some modders had to add things to essentially get it to play properly. Maybe it was the programming that was complete but not all the polygon assets had been created or something but there was definitely

Great question. I suppose it was very much a simplification for me to separate ‘intelligent and free thinking’ and ‘someone with mental health issues’ so sorry about that.

They’re very much in the category of requiring specific knowledge of certain games to get the joke. Which is fine, but yeah a lot of the time i just end up staring at it thinking ‘well i guess that would be funny if i was investing any time whatsoever on Persona 5/FFXIV/whatever’.

It’s the type of thing that could have easily fizzled out after just a few months/years and then kept making weak attempts at coming back that continuously tried new gimmicks that just flat out didn’t work. Instead they simply grew stronger and more popular and i’m gonna stop here because it’s sounding like the exact

That was my point. It only *appears* easy. Luck and persistence are big factors.

I suppose that’s true. I had essentially ran through the whole series in nice chunks before hitting a hiatus point just before the boat arc, then got back into it while it was being slow in this section. On top of cutting to Griffin’s new city it feels like we spent forever getting to the land of the fairies.

I guess it just seems too easy. Start recording yourself playing a game and let people watch equals profit. Sure i bet there’s a chunk of work that goes on in the background but that would just be a part of it after a while.

The logic of this is mind boggling when you take five seocnds to think about it.

Things do move forward and things do develop. Fights do go on for a several chapters at a time but i would think of it more as a battle than a duel so it does keep itself fresh.

I think it’s the way the parents are presented. For Batman it’s ‘Thomas and Martha Wayne’. For Superman it’s usually ‘Ma and Pa Kent’. Since Superman himself usually calls her Ma it’s only Jonathan and occasional other side characters that call her by her actual name. Even then Jonathan will usually refer to her as

I got it!

BECAUSE HOW ELSE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CONTAIN SUCH RAGE!

I think MvC Infinite has opted to make itself look more like the movies than the comics, which is a shame because MvC 3 was getting very close to 3d style comic book graphics.

Ooh, at the start you have a choice of one of eight drop points across the whole map to simulate the old Robot menu choice. It’ll be a tricky kind of balance to ensure the upgrade for one area allow you to get to another area without getting trapped, but it’ll make for some powerful level design.

A proper Donkey Kong Country.

Please tell me that Papyrus refers to himself as Ore-sama. It suits him perfectly.

I am! It’s gonna be awesome!
