I know it’s standard to bash Penny Arcade’s run nowadays but i laughed my ass off with this one:

Nerf Now tends to have a lot of storylines that go over my head (i don’t play DOTA or OVerwatch) so i liked this one a lot.

Sandbox mode is pretty much complete in terms of playability (there are still missing features but you can still see it as a full survival game). I bought it a few months ago to fully enjoy sandbox mode before the story stuff comes out and didn’t regret it.

Yotsuba& is secretly the best manga of all time. It’s just too busy having fun in the sun to ever accept the award.

Akamatsu also takes this one step further and has cgi locations created for fantasy locations that can then be reused over and over again from different angles. It’s an awesome effect that makes impossible geometry feel a lot more realistic.

Yeah the article bleeding is certainly messing up the feel of the site. For those of us used to opening up single articles in multiple tabs it’s certainly feeling odd.

I get what you’re saying and for the most part i agree, but i would say you can have sympathy for the people affected by these individuals and the individuals themselves. These are people who need help.

Sad point of contention: These people are not thinking in these terms. Anthony here is not thinking ‘I am stalking my favourite twitcher’. He is thinking ‘I need to get away. I need to start a fresh. If anyone can help me it’s Ello’.

I believe it’s pretty much this. I think it would require an extra level of ambition than they’re willing to go for to change the formula of the games to have starving people and spreading disease replace the various methods of murder than Death and War can bring to the table.

Considering how easy it would have been game wise to make one last dialog box appear at the end i’d say this comes off as very intentional, which actually makes it a very daring ending. They chose to end it as a freeze frame with no extras when they could have easily made a dialog box pop up with a piece of fluff text…

It’s a nice premise and it’s enjoyable to watch. It does get convoluted at parts and there’s a bit of an annoyance in the jump between seasons due to executive meddling but overall i say it’s worth it. The ending is also actually satisfying.
