20-30mins if you’re trying to top off but on a regular trip it’s less. Tesla just released a new update that increased charging speeds for some of the Mode 3’s, shaved off about 10mins for a full charge. Most people are hitting the charger for 10-20mins if not less as the charger peaks then drops off in rate. Anything…
Sometimes the thing just breaks or faults out. Other times it’s because some idiot dropped the charger-end and it broke on the ground. It’s not really that different than regular gas stations, some pumps are out of order sometimes.
All Superchargers are Public and will charge between 72-350kW, depends on the flavor of charger.
Well with all the clickz you pulled in for this unedited post you’re on your way!
You’re thinking Don ”dumbfuck” Jr and the NRA
I raise your one kidney and offer the Gods a liver and left testicle.
The Mach-E release was worse than the Cybertruck. Elon just got up there said here’s my truck, broke some windows and got off stage. The Mache -E dragged and dragged plus they were reading word by word off the teleprompter for the stupid car.
They will have it as the entry-level, just like you can buy the $35k Model 3 but you have to order it off menu. Ford sells stripper model F-150’s but not many people order them, the people want heated seats and heated steering wheels damnit... but the check box is there.
You’ve got your numbers wrong, possibly on purpose? Didn’t see the /s either.
Nice burn! The logic of saying someone needs more than 200miles of range every single day is clearly lacking. But this is the internet so you get to try again.
Then obviously it’s not the right car for them, I didn’t say everyone should have one, I’m saying the range thing is overblown. And yes, like most American’s I have a garage with the power panel in the garage.
Ha, why? I can go to Home Depot/Bed Bath Beyond/Walmart/Grocery store within 5miles of my house and if I want to hit all the same stores again it’s just another 5 miles. Suburbia!
300-400miles a day? Are you talking for work? Then yeah, an electric might not be the proper vehicle for you but then again it might because of fuel savings. Majority of drivers are doing less than 100miles a day. You obviously wouldn’t be one of those drivers. Charging really doesn’t take long, it’s blown out of…
Pretty sure most of the U.S. doesn’t live downtown Manhattan like you make it seem. Most of us live in suburbia. Sure, some people street park but then obviously driving an electric car isn’t for you but neither is a F-350 dually... again, not quite the right vehicle fit if you have to street park.
This whole five minutes thing is over rated and unnecessary. The car is plugged in every night so you never have to stop ANYWHERE. I have never driven over 200miles around town and never will. I can road trip the hell out of my Model 3 and do it for very very cheap. You need to test drive a Tesla and see for yourself.…
you forgot the “/s”
Really liking how you guys decided to compare it to Porsche’s instead of Tesla’s especially since putting Tesla in posts gets you guys all the clickz...
He didn’t survive the encounter per the photographer.
Lowest trim is $43,895 for 230mi. Even with the $7500 tax credit I don’t think people will go for it, or have the tax deficit. They missed the mark by not being closer to 300mi for the lowest trim but I doubt Ford has the battery tech.
