Full disclosure, I recently traded my Golf R for a Model 3 (standard range + trim). The $35k version was always a carrot, my 240mi range is more than enough for my 30mi round trip mon-fri. It goes 0-60 in 5.4s but omg I want the Performance version (3.2s) and the 310mi range... only because it can do that.

I guess but isn’t it just the EV version of an idiot light? Either way you’re being told to fill up.

I get what you’re saying but Ford doesn’t give you extra range in an F-150 just randomly by coming up with a new algorithm and they sure as hell don’t do it for “free”

Sheeet, talk about bad timing. I’d say poor Audi but meh

This is my surprised face...

I was just joking about it and trying to say Tesla is a whole different thing. Actually all the Supercharging I’ve done have had open spaces and working properly. It’s super easy, just pull up and plug in. There’s no opening an app or sliding a card.

I’ve yet to find a pump that this works on. Recently bought a Tesla so it’s a different “experience” these days.

Germany had this style pump, thing was HUGE! I definitely sat in the car for a moment and watched how the locals did it before attempting as I don’t know any German and was by myself. Turns out I did fine.

Because taxi’s were totally safe in every way possible...

Oh okay.

First World Problems via Jalopnik... c’mon can we please get better content?!?!!

How about the most vandalized vehicles? Lately I’ve seen my share of Tesla’s keyed...

Hey hey, your narrative doesn’t fit the M.O. for clicks so pipe down okay. Tesla news must always be bad mmmkay

Why wasn’t this part of The Morning Shift? Does it not fit the Jalopnik agenda these days? We used to get real reporting from Jalopnik, now it’s just re-posts & links to other sites.

Fvck BMW

How much will it depreciate in three years?

100,000 miles on an electric car is completely different than an ICE vehicle. I’ll be picking up an s later this year because they’ve come down in price so much and my commit is about to be 100miles round trip. Just makes sense fuel savings-wise and comfort level.

Are you sure it’s China that’s on a war path? Pretty sure Trade Wars are easy to win, they just take over 2yrs for sure and in the short term the people pay the price not the country you’re trying to inflict pain on.........

Who is the first charging network?

Cocaine’s a hell of a drug
