I actually got $50 when FHM (now defunct Maxim-like magazine) published this in their user submitted true stories section.

positively seinfeldian.

Title: The Phantom Fingers

Are you from a sheltered family or something?

I seriously doubt anyone cross-shopping an LC 500 is going to be interested in an M6. Maybe a 650i, but not an M car.

i don’t think any manufacturer ever thinks that their flagship cars will be high volume sellers

I think it’s a great looking car. I think there are a lot of people out there who have $100K to blow on a coupe that will think the same and buy it. I’m sure they’ll be pleased with their purchase. The free donuts at Lexus service is truly the key factor here though.

Licensing most likely, people usually forget how that can be a pain in the ass for anything,

It does look awesome, but it’s a huge pain to take care of. Bird poo has to be cleaned off immediately and it can’t be buffed, so if it gets scratched you have to respray the panel.

It sounds great until you get into a minor fender bender and realize it’s impossible to paint match and your entire car needs a respray...

I wish they would stop it with the matte paint

Who would want this car in a manual though? It’s 400 feet long.

Unpopular opinion: the styling works. It has enough space to work.

Come on! I’ve owned 5 911's and will definitely say these are the best cars they’ve made. I’ll admit that, personally, I find them a little too fast these days, but I guess I’m starting to get old. Plus, the GTS is no sacred cow — just an end of the model run option package designed to keep interest up and stop

Now playing

I think pre-hollywood post-Drunk Master, Jackie is in a league all his own when it comes to excellence. I’ll let Tony Zhou explain:

Jackie Chan gets a lifetime pass on bad movies for being Jackie Chan.
