I always assumed the obvious reason that Kimetsu no Yaiba is a box-office hit is because it’s a canon continuation of the series. It picks up right where season 1 left off.  Different from a One Piece film which feels like off-shoot filler fare where one wonders where it places on the vast timeline.

Now playing

Too many to choose from... but from various styles... besides the ENTIRETY of Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger:

Going to miss your articles Chris! Good luck with everything, and hope to see you still writing more game stuff somewhere.

I wish I could afford a Porsche. Maybe a 962, as a 9th or 10th car. But I was only following, since it’s not often you see a GT3 RS out on a freeway during the weekday. It was a much older gentleman, and he certainly drove like a gentleman.  I just thought it was interesting that you had kids needing to speed in

Certainly. Under normal Southern California traffic, it’s impossible to speed because traffic is bumper-to-bumper. The areas people drive 100+mph tend to be clean and repaved highways. Some stretches of the 405, and much of the OC freeways, like 73, 5, 405, it’s very wide, open and smooth.  Just this weekend, on the

Perhaps, but my guess is that with less people on the road, LAPD and OCPD have to make up for lost citation revenue. I certainly see a lot more CHP camping out on speed traps; but they’re not going after people going 80 mph or 85 mph — that’s just the usual flow of traffic with no one on the road for this past month.

In a way, it’s more like the A80 Supra was a Z30 Soarer that went to athletic boot camp.  Z30 Soarer/Lexus SC300 was released in 1991.  JZA80 Supra was still in development phase in 1991, mainly using the drivetrain, suspension, and subframe of the JZZ30, until they finally put the Supra on sale for 1993.

You can take what I say with a grain of salt:

This is why exactly why I love FF XIII. You didn’t have to think hard to play it. With a backlog of games to catch up on, while being a working adult, it’s kind of nice to just sit back and enjoy the experience.

While the ending is sad bittersweet, it is pretty in line with the overall tone of Deathnote.  Anyone that uses the Deathnote does not get a happy ending.  But I really loved the commentary from Near, since there was basically no reason for him to take any action.  Minoru was a one-man show.  Entertaining one-shot,

What would I like to see? How about a twin-engine RX-7-Eleven Pike’s Peak homologated competition special, paired to a new rotary 20B-SkyActive-XXX that now burns 50% less oil?!

I was thinking Harry Potter myself. Or the Bugatti Type-35 and Veyron “Pur Sang.”

I don’t know where you get dentistry done, but all the aging dentists I know drive the vanilla fare of BMW SUV’s, Benz coupes, and the occasional Aventador or Audi R8.

Connoisseurs of anime are not any different than when it comes to cuisine, cars, games, fashion, clothes, movies, music, wine, whiskey, etc. The average consumer wouldn’t understand if there is no interest beyond surface utility.

Not my favorite Mana game, but it was very charming. Gorgeous backgrounds, unique, cute characters. While I still prefer Hiroki Kikuta’s quirky style as music for Mana games, Yoko Shimomura does a fantastic job of creating a soothing, if dreamy and surreal soundtrack.

Also resolve to finish Genso Suikoden V. Going to work on Shining in the Darkness, Phantasy Star 2 & 4. Sonic CD. Cosmic Fantasy 2. Lunar 2:Eternal Blue. Rudra no Hihou. Treasure Hunter G. Earnest Evans. Dragon's Crown. Street Fighter 2:The Movie story mode (live-action).

Listened to a recent podcast of The Smoking Tire with Chris Harris. I believe this kind of 456 is what Chris has been pining and feening for recently.

Right?! I know we can’t be the only working adults on here with a stack of unopened games from 5-10 years ago.  I have Dragon Quest 4 DS, Persona 4, Sin and Punishment Wii, Xenoblade Chronicles, among others staring at me.  But the backlog of unfinished games..... I still need to do a complete playthrough of Sonic CD

Open 2 games that have been wrapped in the original shrinkwrap way too long.
