This post really put me into a vortex of Tribe songs, this morning: Check the Rhime, Like it Like That, Stressed Out, etc.

“Bloody Tears” alone cancels out anything bad about Castlevania 2. The whole soundtrack is quite brilliant really.

Alternate explanations I’ve heard is that the moon landing happened, but the film documentation got corrupted by radiation (GCR’s, SPE’s, etc) while traveling through space (like when photographers of yesteryear used high ISO 35mm film would lose their work passing through multiple x-rays machines at airport

It should be different. Most enthusiasts would test drive a car. A lot of average people don’t even bother because they don’t even care how a car drives or handles. It just has to look nice or have cachet (like a new BMW or Benz), or be an appliance (like a Prius or a Tesla).

Who knows. Can you imagine all those people who bought Valkyries, LaFerraris, 918's, and P1's, before a physically complete example were ever made?

Thank you for posting this.  I’d love to make a pilgrimage to the train stop and museum, next time I’m in Japan.

Hood and chassis proportions feel reminiscent of an S2000 in that Piech sketch concept.

For some reason, I’m in the mood to chug an ice cold pint of Singha beer. Here’s to raising a glass for the Ice Man’s start with the new team this season.

Grumble grumble! Craving some monster food?! =)

Props for the cover photo of Dragon Quest’s Dai using Avan Strash X (Cross)!  Now there’s a series that could use a reboot.

-Yamaha co-developed naturally aspirated in-line 6, cast-iron block, revs to 9000 rpm.

Geez, 2006. I was still in grad school, commuting an hour through LA traffic to do clinical internship. I had just got back from a trip for a friend’s wedding in Japan. Dated various girls. Took them out to all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ for $18.99. My phone was a Sony, that was mostly used for phone calls and text

+1, or WRX wagon, or Acura TSX wagon.

Love both the Testarossa and the 288 GTO. For me, that’d be like having to choose between rustic Neapolitan pizza and 60-day dry-aged bone-in ribeye.

Loved this series of movies growing up. Tsuchiya always makes a statement about only racing on circuits in every movie. One if the best cheesier movies has the hero sell his car and his dad’s car for an R32 GTR, so that his younger brother (an elementary aged kid dying of cancer) can live his dreams of street racing

I would say it’s easier in a different way.  It’s a plus that everything can be done off of USB, so it’s really more of a plug and play, rather than having to flash a new kernel from the Classic hardware.

-Economic bubble will pop (already seems to be bursting)

A Koyo radiator, and false hope of picking up a kouki front bumper for the AE86. 4th time this year I lost a chance to pick one up. Here's to hoping there's better luck next year.

I loved Dragon Quest XI, but I can also see why the average person, let alone average gamer, would not be able to get into it. The last, last boss was probably the most challenging I’ve faced in a while. Even with levels maxed out to 99, and fully built armor for ALL characters, it took some real strategizing to get

Relationships are literally fucking exhausting if you’re having passionate marathon sex every night, up until you should be getting some sleep before that one-hour commute to a 12-hour work shift.
