I agree with you that the show was a bit bleh when Nick and Jess got together. (Correlation, not causality?) Maybe, for all the obvious Sam/Diane parallels, the biggest one that will turn out to be true is that the time for Nick/Jess has passed. But right now, the writers pretty much *have* to deal with their feelings

Or is it just an overlay of really sheer lace matching the beige lace veil? In any case, not like she'd make the lace herself.

I'm guessing that on the bodice at least it's lace appliqué, which comes in pieces and needs to be, y'know, applied and sewn into place. Can't remember the skirt, but at least there's a non-TV Reality solution to the bodice.

Yeah, I was just thinking about this! When Jess is sitting at the table and Cece comes over - what she says (something like, 'It's okay, babe, you don't have to say it out loud') is both realistic and reflective of a real sensitivity when it comes to writing their friendship.

I think the best thing about this movie is that the 'wrong side' depends so much on the viewer.
