This is not true. Deletion in app does nothing for Documents and Data on the iPhone.

This does NOT work. Clearing data on the app does nothing to clear Documents and Data on my iPhone. In fact, clearing on the app just now raised the Documents and Data usage from 300 to 500 mb.
