I totally thought the picture of Killgrave's mother was supposed to resemble Hogarth's ex.

I'm not crazy about the first two sections (although I like the second more than you and feel that it works better in context of the whole novel), the book gets going in the third section and ends strong. It's weaker than the last two franzen novels though

Morrison's run on the X-men was brilliant and the worst thing marvel could have done after his run to neuter its own universe was to reverse the ascendancy of mutantkind. Mutants are the most interesting part of the marvel universe. I hate hearing Jessica Jones talk about the "gifted" when she should be hunting down

Is Jessica able to resist Killgrave's power of suggestion after she kills Mrs. Cage? Is that why he's so wary of contacting her directly?
